Booked for Private party

Jonatan (John Valcas Art) is a really great character artist. I booked him for 3 hours as part of the entertainment for my birthday celebrations. I checked out his show case and decided from the reviews that he would be ideal for my event. It was based in London and I thought it would be a problem for him to travel to me but he said it was not an issue as he was used to travelling to various different areas. We had a Zoom call so that I could meet him before the event and decide on timing. On the day, he set up quickly, ready to start immediately. I found him a private spot outside on the terrace so that guests could sit out in comfort away from the dancing and have their portraits done. However, he is also used to drawing people on the go with dancing or other things going on, or sitting at their tables if no dedicated space is available. It was really popular with everyone. He managed to fit everybody in. We had so much fun with all of us showing friends and family the results. He went the extra mile and stayed on a bit later for me to have my own special picture done in colour. I would really recommend him to bring the fun element into any event.

I am not normally one for reviews however … OMG. Mike was absolutely wonderful and the best addition to our wedding. Words can not describe how amazing this was. Mike was absolutely wonderful with each and every guest. And every single person approached either myself or my wife to comment on how good Mike was. Nothing was an issue and my wedding would not have been the same without him !!! Time did run over at the end and my 12 and 14 year old children had not yet been drawn due to them doing their own thing however Mike approached me and offered to still do this for us. Absolutely perfect addition to our wedding, not just having the Caricature attending but generally Mike as a person, we have never met a more heart warming, involved and genuine person and will certainly be booking again for our events in the future. Incredible talented, very, very polite - everyone loved the experience and she even stayed late to do one for my daughter. We had issues with a different company being a scam and she was even willing to accept payment in cash if we needed it because of that. If you're debating whether or not this is worth the money or experience, it really is, I'd say do it!

Andy was a great addition to our wedding. Every guest was desperate to have their caricature done and it’s fair to say none of them were disappointed. We were really impressed with the whole package and it was so nice to see how many people got their picture done with a constant flow keeping Andy very busy all night. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for this type of entertainment for your special day.

Alan’s attendance at my parent’s golden wedding party was a huge success. We had so many comments from guests about what a good idea it was to have him there. His pictures were funny, slightly ‘cheeky’ as you would expect, and a lovely keepsake for people to take away. Alan was friendly, professional and flexible and managed to draw an incredible number of people in the time he was there (which was longer than we had agreed). I would employ him again in a heartbeat.
