Booked for Celebration

Beyond Catering provided a Grazing Table at our Civil Partnership. It was fabulous with a wide choice of food which was beautifully presented. Savouries, cakes, cheese and all sorts of fruits. I asked for a particular item food to cater for my family and it wasn't a problem. Equally, 10% of my guests were vegan and Beyond Catering made sure that the appropriate foor was provided and identified. They were prompt at responding to my queries and liaised direclty with the venue to make sure that had the appropriate access on the day. I had lots of compliments about the quality of the food.

Having been assured that it was simple to order some sustenance to follow a morning funeral, I did not hurry unduly to arrange the details. But then I found out that the advice was based on a misunderstanding of the real situation: there was no ready and waiting team to provide the goods. And the event was drawing close. In some trepidation, I approached Poptop to see if they could help. What they offered 'off the shelf' wasn't exactly what I had in mind, so I had to ask for alterations to a set menu - in other words, make the order bespoke, and quickly - and with the May Day bank holiday awkwardly interposed between the ordering and the event itself. I'm relieved to say that everything worked out well, and i thank Nicola for making this happen seamlessly. She responded magnificently to my several requests for impromptu alterations to the details requested, and the staff arrived on time and set up the food display with faultless efficiently. Well done! P.S. Being someone involved in education, I naturally tend to avoid awarding anyone full marks, but after finishing this review I thought again and tried to add the fifth star, but the system wouldn't let me; so here is a correction: your work is worth Five Stars, not four!

Colin and his team were absolutely fantastic! They arrived with plenty of time and were very gracious when they were kept waiting by us. The food was phenomenal and the little touches like beautiful dishes and hand-written cards with menu were amazing. We were blown away. They left the kitchen spotless and with yummy leftovers for us to enjoy. Fully recommend!

I was nervous as I had booked last minute and all online, but I needn’t to be. The service, the food and the whole experience was great. My guests (around 14) were all delighted and so full by the end of it! We had the canapés + 2 bowls each (risotto + tagliata) and there was plenty to go around. The chef also accomodate my egg allergy: I had chosen the mini burgers (as too good to pass, although due to the bun I wouldn’t have had them): he made some egg free for me! The two chefs showed up with serving platters and disposable cutlery / bowls. They cleaned up after themselves. One after thought: if you want so, make sure to ask the chefs to leave behind everything; I think some got thrown away if not enough of it (ie two arancini left = bin). I’d have happily had them the next day 😂. All in all flawless service. Will certainly book them again. Bravo!
