Our event went very well indeed and we had around 63 people there - many older people who appreciated the older songs which were rendered. Unfortunately, the steam from the boiler set off the fire alarm mid song, but Ruby was very adapt at responding. Chris James was every last note the king of Swing. He paved the way for what can only be described as a fabulous evening in a most unique setting. Not only does he have a delicious voice, he also works the room, entertaining everyone brilliantly from one end of the age scale to the other. A true sign of a class entertainer. He adapted his second set to include more modern pieces and our locals thoroughly enjoyed their experience in our beer garden with many asking when The Goodfella will be returning.
