Jonatan (John Valcas Art) is a really great character artist. I booked him for 3 hours as part of the entertainment for my birthday celebrations. I checked out his show case and decided from the reviews that he would be ideal for my event. It was based in London and I thought it would be a problem for him to travel to me but he said it was not an issue as he was used to travelling to various different areas. We had a Zoom call so that I could meet him before the event and decide on timing. On the day, he set up quickly, ready to start immediately. I found him a private spot outside on the terrace so that guests could sit out in comfort away from the dancing and have their portraits done. However, he is also used to drawing people on the go with dancing or other things going on, or sitting at their tables if no dedicated space is available. It was really popular with everyone. He managed to fit everybody in. We had so much fun with all of us showing friends and family the results. He went the extra mile and stayed on a bit later for me to have my own special picture done in colour. I would really recommend him to bring the fun element into any event.

Amazing artist, had all my guests crying with laughter, every guest wanted a drawing done by Dave to the point myself (bride) and groom struggled to get ours done (Dave did us last before he left and we love our drawing) I think it’s such a nice idea to have an artist like this at any event so your guests have something to take home and remember the night. I would highly recommend as he is amazing value for money.

Interactive with all guests, fun, and stayed way past his time stated!

We hired Francesco the digital cartoonist for the evening of our wedding. He was truly amazing. The guests were wowed by him and his incredible talent. Something different for the wedding guests to enjoy and go away with a great momento.

we were unaware that the Cartoonist needed chairs and were not prepared, so had to chase some down. It would have been an idea to bring some himself, and there was no sign advertising his service, which would have been useful. Having said this, he did a good job and kept people entertained with his drawings, staying beyond his time to ensure that those queuing had a chance to have a drawing.
