On the day, they completely exceeded our expectations. The energy, the talent, and the setlist had everyone up and dancing, we had countless guests telling us how amazing the band was. When I went looking for a band for my husband's 60th Birthday party I didn't have a clue where to start. I discovered Poptop and searched through the bands available for the date. What helped me choose The Wonder Whys was their demo and the reviews they had on the site. It is always a leap in the dark when choosing a band for a one off event but I need not have worried. Contact via phone and email directly with the band prior to the party was friendly, timely and informative. I cannot praise the band highly enough, they obviously enjoy performing and their enthusiasm is infectious, their music was exactly what I wanted. Ours was a small event with a range of ages, but they got people up and dancing and the made the party complete. They have a fabulous sound, are lovely people and I cannot thank them enough for making the party perfect, would highly recommend. Husband was delighted and family and friends impressed.

Booked for Wedding

We hired the Alchemists to perform at our wedding, and they were fantastic. They did an amazing set full of suitable songs for the occasion which had people up and dancing but were also relaxed enough for others to mingle and chat. We had to cancel our wedding 3 times over the lockdown and communication with Ryan was excellent over the year from when we first contacted them, till the big day. If your looking for a classy, professional and above all entertaining band these guys would be your best bet.

They were wonderful, arrived in plenty of time despite a long drive, played absolutely perfect music for the occasion and couldn’t be more accommodating and laid back. They were such a hit with everyone, beautiful voice and very cool guitar. Highly recommend them
