Recent review: "I was delighted when I found a local company to cater for my sons surprise 30th birthday which we held in the garden for around 40 people.When I contacted Andrew he promptly got in touch and sent me sample menus which were just what I was looking for. On the day of the party Andrew brought the food, supplied the tables, condiments, plates and cutlery and Karen. The set up was professional and took no time at all. Karen served the food and showed great customer service to my guests. The food was of high quality, especially the burgers and I loved the baked potatos and the monk fish. My guest were complimentary about the food and were interested in how I had found “The Secret Chefs”. I would not hesitate in recommending The Secret Chef to my friends. I received a professional and high quality service from beginning to end. Karen cleared away the barbeques and tables without me even noticing. There was no fuss and no mess. Hiring The Secret Chefs took pressure off me and therefore I was able to enjoy the party fully with my guests. All I had to worry about was the weather and thankfully the sun shone for us. Thank you once again to Andrew and Karen (Our Secret Chefs), Well Done!"

Recent review: It was an amazing experience having Matei come and cook for us on my 50th birthday. The food was delicious and well presented. Matei was friendly and entertaining with the kids! Matei came prepared with all the ingredients, cooked, served up, cleared up and washed up! Such a treat for everyone! Excellent value and highly recommended!

Recent review: "Went to a Food Festival in North Shields today. I'm a coeliac so eating out is always a Nightmare but I saw a sign for gluten free options at the Tandoori Nan Hut. It smelled good so I thought I would try it. Was served by Naz who understood that gluten is very very bad for people like me. She made me a huge serving of everything I could eat and it was absolutely delicious. I would have been delighted to get this in a top Indian restaurant, so to get it outside on a wet day in Shields was incredible. Thank you Naz and team, friendly people and Fab food - well worth trying if you seem them around. Ed"
