Funk City Band were perfect for our occasion. We wanted a band who'd get people up and dancing and they did that perfectly. Craig was very helpful and responsive in the lead up to the event too.

We hired the Alchemists to perform at our wedding, and they were fantastic. They did an amazing set full of suitable songs for the occasion which had people up and dancing but were also relaxed enough for others to mingle and chat.
We had to cancel our wedding 3 times over the lockdown and communication with Ryan was excellent over the year from when we first contacted them, till the big day.
If your looking for a classy, professional and above all entertaining band these guys would be your best bet.

Thank you for making my grandads birthday party so special! You are all fantastic musicians, and having you perform for us really was the cherry on the top of a perfect celebration. We were at another family gathering today with quite a few of the same people from yesterday, and literally everyone commented on what a fantastic party it was, and how amazing you guys were :)
I'm so pleased we went for the 5 piece band in the end, it was definitely worth it, and the addition of the saxophonist really completed the sound we were going for.
Your have such a wonderful voice, and sounded even better live! My grandad is very fussy about who he likes and you received very high praise from him! Thank you for all the little extra touches - playing certain pieces of my grandads favourite music, singing happy birthday and taking the time to have a chat with my grandad in between sets! I'm so glad I found you. The whole booking process through Poptops was straight forward, and although I wasn't the most organised of customers, your patience and correspondence to my requests and messages made everything super easy.
We are already looking for an excuse to have a party to get you back.

Before the wedding Jess worked very hard with the venue to ensure we could have the best possible line up for our reception and set up a surprise happy birthday for the mother of the bride with no problems. Hot Shoes really made the night! We were having a 1920/30s-themed wedding and Hot Shoes provided us with the icing on the cake. They also helped out when the best man screwed up the playlist for the slot after the band finished playing, so that was very much appreciated too! You guys are very talented and great people so thanks for everything. Chris & Becky.
