Had everyone up on the dance floor with the tribute act and himself as a DJ. Couldn't recommend this guy enough, keep up the hard work Daniel, thanks again! Highly recommended 5 star plus!

Recent review: We booked Anthony for our first crafting event at the Marriott Peterborough in November, after looking through options provided by various agents. What Anthony offered was just what we - and our delegates were after. Not only was he self-sufficient (along with Nicky), he also was able to be flexible with times - and managed to read the audience very well within minutes. In terms of the act - what a voice! An authentic example of the 'great American Songbook'. All in all - I would highly recommend Anthony for your event, if you want the evening to start and end with a swing..!

Recent review: Daniel and his London Swing & Soul Band played at our wedding last August. We spent absolutely ages looking for the right band, and we were losing heart, until we saw this band in action. Simply awesome. The most amazing repertoire, which was great for us because our guests ranged from 4 to 84, and there was something for everyone, even traditional Jewish wedding dances (which we wanted even though our wedding was not religious in any way). Daniel supplied a jazz trio for the daytime (which was excellent), he played keyboard during the actual ceremony (and it was beautiful), then we opted for an 8 piece band for the reception, which was fabulous. So many of our guests commented afterwards about how much they loved our band. Three of our guests are professional musicians themselves, one teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, and one is musical director for the Ritz hotel in London, and they both said the band was fantastic. PLUS ours was a same-sex wedding, and it was important for us to feel comfortable with everyone involved. Daniel is really lovely, and it was a pleasure to have him be such a big part of our perfect day. Thanks Daniel and The London Swing & Soul Band - absolutely, unreservedly recommended, we could not possibly fault you in any way, Sarah & Sabina xx

Recent review: Having been an avid fan of rock n’roll music for three decades, it was essential that I found a really good band for our wedding. I reviewed over 100 bands over a period of several months and Sound of the Suburb were by far the best. These gentlemen love what they do and they do what they love exceedingly well. They are some of the most pleasant, accommodating, flexible and decent people I have dealt with. When it comes to detail, I make Meryl Streep in The Devil wears Prada look tame. Instead of being put off or irritated, these men relished the challenge of coming up with a play list that would meet my expectations and they did- in spades. Another major benefit is that as they have regular gigs, we were able to see them in action, which was very reassuring compared to trying to make up your mind based on a couple of wobbly videos, which our internet driven, gig economy world attempts to force us to do. The band members have a great deal of experience of such events and so was able to advise on what does and does not work. They visited the venue so we were confident we would not have any logistical issues. They have very good equipment (for which they may need set up time) and provided wireless mikes which were useful for the speeches & our open mike session and also took care of the recorded music between their sets. Most of all, they generate an energy and fun that was infectious. We had everyone from under 9 to over 90 years old on the dance floor, which revealed dancing talents of some guests even their spouses did not know they possessed. Our family and friends had a ball thanks to their efforts, which they do not spare any of to make the occasion memorable. I am, by my own admission, a difficult person to please as I demand quality and thoroughness. This band not just met but exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them unreservedly. Please treat them with the respect such good musicians deserve and they will go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful event.

Recent review: We are back from our honeymoon and refreshed. I wanted to send you a quick email to thank you for your huge contribution in making our special day, just perfect! We had the best day of our lives and we feel it would not have been the same without you and your spectacular performances. I had high expectations of you, as we had heard you sing at Tony Romas in Kingston, but what you delivered on our wedding day was more than words can explain, amazing and perfect! The whole package was brilliant, your singing, your performance (my mum will never forget the special attention she received from you, it made her day too), the background music and the DJ service as well as being flexible when needed and in particular for my dad, who wanted a surprise second dance with me and made a special request which you so kindly adapted to. People never stopped talking about how great our entertainment was, at times they felt they were listening to a Frank Sinatra recording (until they spotted you standing outside) and the dance floor was never empty, apart from when the buffet food came out (obviously we had hungry guests). I will write on your website too, but just wanted you to know how you were worth every penny and I will be recommending you to everyone I can. Recent review: Tashara and the sleeke chix did the evening entertainment at my wedding and they were fabulous! The dance floor was packed from start to finish and they really looked the part too and even had a few costume changes! Tashara worked with us to work out a set that we’d really like and every song was choreographed as well so it was really professional. I’d absolutely recommend booking them for your event, you will have a BLAST! ❤️🙌🏽✨👌🏽

Recent review: The band were amazing! Their performance was brilliant we had so many people commenting how good they were. The communication with the band from start to finish was excellent and they were so helpful with ideas and suggestions if their own and on the day itself they were very accommodating regards last minute changes to the itinerary. I will definitely be booking them again in the future.
