Very talented people. These guys were the first music act of our evening and helped to gently set the tone of our wedding reception perfectly. They happily took requests of some well known classics and finished with Thunderstruck just as we asked. Happy to recommend to anyone.

Theblackmarcs were absolutely fantastic at our wedding (16.03.2019). They were in touch with us at all the key points in the run up to the big day to find out our timings, requests and first dance song. On the night we couldn't have asked for a better band. The music was brilliant. Our guests loved them and they kept the party going til well past midnight. They had people who we never thought we'd see on a dancefloor up dancing the night away! My partner Becky organised Pipley Dance and Ceilidh Band for my surprise 30th birthday party and I cannot recommend them highly enough! We had such a brilliant time and the band really made it the perfect celebration. As a group we were mixed abilities and ages, but everyone got involved at some point and we have had so many wonderful comments from guests about how much they enjoyed it! Rachel and the band were so friendly and such talented musicians. Their caller is excellent, offering really clear instructions and was great at making people feel welcome. I have been to a number of ceilidhs over the last few years and I definitely think that they are the best band I have seen. I just hope that we can go to see them again soon! Thanks to the band for being part of the celebration and making so many wonderful memories. Rob

"Shenanigans played at my fathers wake recently and their music truly was a tribute for a proud Irishman.The music they played was extremely fitting but made what could have been a solemn occasion, a time to smile. Communication from Alan was excellent from the first email and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
As a side note, I was wondering if you could remember which song you were playing as people first came into the venue (I think It had Galway in the words / title). Quite a few people have asked me what it was called but we weren't there a that point.
