I used PopTop to book catering for my father's 80th birthday party, and overall I was very pleased with how things worked out. The booking process was straightforward to begin with. Having several different catering companies all under the one Pop-Top site made it really easy to compare options and choose what suited us best. I was able to secure the booking through the website, though I did then have to make an additional payment directly to the caterers so they could secure supplies. This wasn't particularly highlighted in the initial information, but it was there if you looked for it. Communication throughout was easy, and the company was very helpful whenever I had questions. There was a slight hiccup on the day, the team turned up early and there was some confusion where our 80th birthday party got mixed up with a stag do. However, they resolved the situation quickly and to everyone's satisfaction, which I appreciated. The person who came, Richard, was very accommodating and courteous. Most importantly, the food was very good – the hog roast went down brilliantly with all our guests.

What an amazing experience we had with Yana, Jose, Ellie & Ellie from Crocus Paella who catered our postponed wedding reception this weekend! We couldn’t have asked for a better service, or a better team to cater our reception. They were so friendly and made the most excellent food which was so tasty, traditional, filling and the Paella is also naturally gluten free, nut free and dairy free. Everyone really enjoyed it all! There was plenty left over for people to come and get second helpings. The tapas choices were also absolutely excellent, beautiful meats and cheese selections and fabulous croquettes, all clearly labelled with dietary information where needed. I couldn’t think of a better option for catering which suited absolutely everyone’s preferences and needs than the amazing paella from Crocus Paella, all for an extremely reasonable price. The team set everything up with minimal fuss and a huge amount of enthusiasm. We’ll be recommending them to anyone and everyone, don’t hesitate to book them for your event immediately! We would post some pictures but the food was so excellent it was gobbled before we managed to get some snaps!! We will be looking out for their stands around Brighton, wonderful food from wonderful people. Thank you all so much for such a smashing meal!

This was a fabulous experience making a special birthday even more special thanks to Marcello. Each course was perfectly presented, meticulously planned and absolutely delicious. Marcello's passion and talent for food really stood out. This was the best dinner we have ever had and we can't wait to book again for our next occasion.
