Monico were absolutely fantastic, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding band! Their communication was great and on the night they arrived and set everything up in the background extremely quickly and professionally, without disrupting the rest of the evening. They even provided lighting as we only had a couple of small lights at the venue.
Their song selection was perfect and their playing and vocals were incredible! We had so many compliments from our guests and they had people up and dancing from the very first song they played! On top of this, they were really nice friendly guys to deal with. I can't recommend them highly enough! Thanks again for a great night!

Blag came along and did a wonderful job of entertaining at my rescheduled 50th Birthday party.
They were very accommodating, playing their first set outside and then moving inside in the break.
They are very skilled musicians and did an excellent job.
However, they are misrepresented as a Ceilidh band, as I had asked for a number of led dances and to have a caller encourage people to join in. They did a great set, but chose to play their eclectic set list which included celtic folk, rock, latin, world music, jazz and some some pop / rock covers and no led dances which was a shame as this is what I had asked for.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, just be clear about your expectations from the outset.

Los Soneros were excellent. They arrived on time, costumes were great, singing and music were just right. Songs were in Spanish, not just English translations, which made it sound authentic and exotic. They were just right for our small group of about 25 people of all ages, who gathered outdoors for my wife's 70th birthday party on a sometimes rainy afternoon in Surrey. I highly recommend Los Soneros.

Los Soneros were exactly what I was after! They got the party started, were super easy to work with and played 2 great sets at my birthday party in a Mexican restaurant. Would definitely recommend them :)

I hired the Capstick Ceilidh Band to perform at my wedding reception and I could not be happier with their professionalism or their performance. They are excellent musicians, they kept the dance floor full and they managed to teach a lot of people some ceilidh dances that had never been to ceilidh before. I could not recommend them more.
