Didn’t like the fact you can’t contact caterer direct until deposit paid. But once I was able to communicate with Rupert he put my mind at ease. Clarified and helped me arrange a buffet funeral tea for my sister. confirmed details in an email so no misunderstanding. Highly recommend Rupert and Gibbons catering. A smooth efficient service with a human touch.

Nick and his partner Julliette were truly marvellous!
From the first moment we made contact, they put my mind at ease.
It was a tough gig.. a wake!
But they catered to the occasion perfectly.
They were kind, sensitive, and really helpful.
I would say they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and we didn't need to worry.
May I add, we didn't make things easy.. I forgot the plates and everything was a bit chaotic, however Nick was great and totally took over and took everything in hand.

I rank him very highly! He's reliable, helpful, kind, logical and polite. But above all..THEIR FOOD TASTES GREAT!

Excellent food and excellent service!! Debbie was a doll from day one!! When we first booked she let us visit us at an event that she was holding to taste the food. From that day our taste buds were set! On the day of the event everyone could not stop asking where she found our caterer from... Livy comments on the food!! Thank you so much Debbie and staff you guys were amazing!!

We had an excellent experience with Black Truffle. They got in touch early, were very clear on their offer, and responded very promptly to any questions we had. The choice of food was great for a range of allergies and dietary requirements, and Mariola provided full breakdowns on ingredients. On the day the food arrived bang on time, great quality and was well presented. Everything was eaten, and several people asked for the name of the catering company. I would like to say thanks, it was a pleasure dealing with Black Truffle.
