The roast comes with staff to supervise the operation, and carve & serve the meat. Our roast machine is on wheels so getting to the tricky areas is not a problem. Meat takes between 8-10 hours of cooking time, we cook the meat on our premises and leave the last hour for your event, so you and guests can see the Lamb being cooked before placing it on the top of the roast machine for the carving, which is always the focal point and gives the wow factor to any event.

The guys from Acorn were absolutely fantastic!!!! Great value for money and the roast was incredible! All of our wedding guests commented on how good the food was! A lovely couple who were very helpful from start to finish!! Would highly recommend!!!

You made the day wonderful with your extremely tasty food, the hog was perfectly cooked and the crackling was a definite hit with the guests, especially my husband :) Richard arrived on time, setup with minimum fuss and got on with the job. The staff were helpful and flexible, there was a threat of rain, so rather than doing just a buffet they served the food on the tables to our guests. The food itself was delicious, well cooked an the silence during the meal spoke volumes. We would certainly consider them again for a function.

We had a family gathering. Our experience from start to finish has been brilliant. We were contacted straight away by Acorn Hog Roast. They kept in touch every step of the way. They arrived on time, were very smartly dressed and professional throughout. The food was delicious. They packed everything away and left nothing behind. Would recommend them to anyone. Rita and her helpers were incredible. They were so lovely and something I didn't know was that they don't use plastic plates/ cutlery etc, which is a huge win. There was a tonne of delicious food, lots of yummy crackling. They appeared seamlessly and disappeared seamlessly leaving us with very neat leftovers. They were so helpful ask, preparing plates for those who couldn't come up. Absolutely super!
