Xavier and the mariachi band were amazing. We had a small joint birthday party with a Mexican theme and all of our guest loved them.
Xavier reached out before the event to organise timings and asked if there were any special requests. Also on the day some guests had requests and they played them straight away.
I’m so pleased we booked them it made all the difference to a fun day. I would certainly recommend the band to everyone.

Thank-you so much for coming to play at our wedding reception at Whirlowbrook Hall. Your playing was the perfect accompaniment to our garden drinks and games, would recommend anyone looking for professional and talented guitarists to go with Swing Zippers!

Blag came along and did a wonderful job of entertaining at my rescheduled 50th Birthday party.
They were very accommodating, playing their first set outside and then moving inside in the break.
They are very skilled musicians and did an excellent job.
However, they are misrepresented as a Ceilidh band, as I had asked for a number of led dances and to have a caller encourage people to join in. They did a great set, but chose to play their eclectic set list which included celtic folk, rock, latin, world music, jazz and some some pop / rock covers and no led dances which was a shame as this is what I had asked for.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, just be clear about your expectations from the outset.

These guys were the third music act of our evening and were the perfect finale. Friendly, talented, fun and happy to take requests. Everyone loved it. Would happily recommend to anyone... Lee & Beth

Silver Street Ceilidh Band played at our wedding in July this year - luckily just after restrictions were lifted so we could dance. And boy did we dance!😄 The band created a fantastic atmosphere which meant that everybody got up and threw themselves into the spirit of the ceilidh. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves (and keep taking about the fun they had).Even the few who weren't dancing enjoyed laughing at everyone else making a fool of themselves! As both my husband and I are from Scotland, it was lovely to be able to be able to bring a taste of Scotland to the south of England for our wedding. The music and caller were fabulous and the band members were all professional and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for making our special day that extra bit special❤️

The Houlies were fantastic. Prompt, well organised, happy to be flexible when timings on the night slipped, and above all that, wonderful musicians!
