White Light

What a band to have at a special occasion. They played at my friend’s birthday recently and we all know what to expect from party cover bands don’t we? Well we think we do. But then these guys played and raised the bar and raised us all up from our seats. I am normally a little under whelmed by cover bands. Partly because I wrote about music and have interviewed lots of the bands people cover. But I thought it was just a perfectly pitched couple of sets for an occasion like that. It was a proper reminder of the pure joy of dancing in a crowd, all singing along to anthems, like back in the day. Uplifting, heart warming , joyful. As good as it gets if you remember Saturday night being the happiest few hours of the week. Brilliant.
