Visual Music Productions is an entertainment company on the south coast of the UK, based in Worthing. We deal with numerous different projects and events, specialising in world class DJing for weddings, birthday parties, school discos, company functions, nightclubs and bars. We can also provide sound and lighting equipment for hire.
Ross Young, the director of Visual Music Productions is a qualified audio engineer/producer, who has been professionally DJing for the last 20 years. He has played at some of the biggest clubs in London including holding a residency at ‘Ministry Of Sound’ and around the world, he has even DJ’d in Alaska, recently returning from touring the USA where he was Video DJing hence the initials VJ (Video Jockey) all over the west coast. When it comes to getting 110% at your event, you’re on the right page with Visual Music Productions.
We only use the latest and newest professional setups when it comes to lighting, sound and design, this shows with most of our business coming from word of mouth and repeat customers. We have different packages to suit your budget. You might want to go for a traditional feel with a mirror ball and LED uplighting, keeping the lighting subtle, or you might want to go for a full out club feel, with moving heads and lasers, strobes and smoke/hazer machines, or maybe a combination of the two, keeping it traditional for the wedding day and then going for a more club feel in the evening, letting people dance the night away!
At Visual Music Productions we like to talk with our clients to discuss what you want us to do for you. In some cases an event could be 2 hours away. In this this situation we can either Skype or speak on the phone. We can build your personalised playlist together and discuss any other details important to you.
All of our equipment is P.A.T. tested (Portable Appliance Test), making sure your event is as safe as possible. We also carry P.L.I. (Public Liability Insurance) covering up to £10,000,000, both of which we can provide on request.
Visual Music Productions is also a member of The DJ Mark, djmark.org who check their DJ very vigorously, making sure every DJ or company is fully insured, has up to date PAT records (all equipment is safe and secure) and is fully licensed to play music. We find this puts our new clients minds to rest!

Really great DJ and photobooth service for my daughter’s 12th birthday. My daughter and her friends had an absolute blast and JJ and Stacie couldn’t have been more professional and helpful from setting up to keeping the girls entertained. Song choices were great and the photobooth was a massive hit. Communication was excellent from Ross prior to the event as well which was very helpful. Highly recommend this DJ and photobooth company - five stars well deserved ☺️

Ross provided the dj services for our wedding yesterday and I cannot fault him in the slightest. Nothing was too much for him in the lead up to the day and he was flexible to help meet our requirements. He arrived early to set up, was happy to wait while the speeches overrun, and was a pure professional all evening yet still oozing personality. Everyone has commented on what an excellent dj he was. We'd never use anyone else and would recommend him to anyone and everyone!
I booked my DJ and the setup for my wedding from Visual Music Productions. I didn't regret it as from start to finish everything was done to perfection, from the lights to the monogram. Ross even came to the the rescue when our music for the ceremony didn't work. He created our play list that we had chosen and used his laptop to play it. He was a lifesaver. He also organised a singer for us who was also brilliant. I would totally recommend VMP for your wedding or event.
