John is clearly a really talented cook. He’d spent a lot of time considering the menu - we went with all of his suggestions - and had meticulously sourced the ingredients. Each dish was beautifully presented and he was happy to talk us through everything. Most importantly, the flavours were knockout. Each dish had a complexity and depth of flavour that blew us away. It was like having an amazing restaurant in our home for the evening. Such an enjoyable experience that we forgot to take any pictures. Everything was cleaned and tidied away afterwards. Really highly recommend this private chef.

John recently cooked for my family over 5 days. John was a friendly man who made sure he met our food & dietary requirements. He was extremely helpful in the process leading up to our stay (which included children and vegetarians) and came up with several options for me to choose from. The standard of the food was exceptional, he managed to get the balance right between hearty lunches and more refined dishes for dinner. Not only did he prepare and cook the meals for us but he also tidied up and ensured the kitchen was left spotless and managed to squeeze in a cooking lesson for the children, i would use John again.

John provided us with an excellent three course meal which was nothing like I have seen or eaten before. John shows incredible talent in selecting his ingredients and creating his menus. His attention to detail is evident in every dish from start to finish. I would thoroughly recommend to any one looking for a high end private chef and to create a unique dining experience.

John did an incredible job creating a bespoke meal for a 60th birthday party. He was a pleasure to deal with and put a lot of thought into the menu. The food and service and attention to detail were faultless, we couldn’t believe the quality especiallly given it was made in our own home! We really couldn’t recommend John highly enough and will definitely be using him again.
