The Proper Pizza Co

We’re visiting the area and wanted a takeaway pizza. Best find was this place! Pizzas were amazing and reasonably priced too. Our daughter has a dairy intolerance so we look for vegan options and we could change the cheese to vegan cheese easily. Happy kids, happy parents!

We ordered online, a really simple process where all of the options are listed with all the toppings described, times for collection are clear and you pay there and then. There are enough options to suit everyone and we were all happy with our picks. My husband collected and was blown away by the atmosphere inside and how the pizzas were made. The pizzas come in plain brown boxes with printed greaseproof inside. From ope ing the box you can see the quality of the toppings. The dough was amazing. Wood charred base but with an amazingly doughy crust. I'd recommend some dip to make the most of those crusts! We paid £53 for 4 pizzas and weren't disappointed. Every pizza tasted different and the quality of the toppings really shines through in the flavour

Amazing quality Pizza for a brilliant price. Wood fire Pizza is usually expensive but this is absolutely worth it as well as being super reasonably priced. The staff in store were super friendly, had a good laugh with us and were overall lovely people. It’s a great little business, would definitely return!

By far the best pizza we’ve ever had. Found this place on a whim as visitors to the area and can say hands down that we were not disappointed! Absolutely incredible pizza, lovely staff who were incredibly friendly and welcoming! Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again if we are in the area. Thank you for a wonderful dinner! Had an excellent Wood fired pizza here. I opted for the special which had locally sourced meats. The owner was super pleasant to talk to whilst we waited (not for too long).
