The Jacobites Ceilidh Band

This band made my husband's and my vacation to Scotland and Edinburgh one to remember! I can't remember the last time I danced so freely and had so much fun! they are fantastic.

So happy we booked this band for our wedding! These guys were amazing from the minute we booked till the big day. Thoren was so easy to communicate with and both Thoren and Ciaran were absolutely brilliant. Both of these guys are so talented and all of our guests were blown away. We felt like they were just 2 more pals at our wedding. Cant recommend enough!

The band were world class. I'm from Edinburgh and we got married 22/9/22 down in Cheshire. Getting married in England wasn't going to stop us from having a massive ceilidh for the evening entertainment. This band were extremely accommodating and it was no problem at all for them to travel down for the event. They quoted very fairly and very flexible with delays as always happen with weddings. The band's caller Thorne was friendly, professional and a true expert at getting everyone up to the dance floor. My family is Scottish but my wife's are from Ireland and I think the biggest testament was the fact that the dance floor was packed full the entire night! Every single person at the wedding danced for at least one song with most dancing for a solid 2.5 hours! I would hire them again in a heartbeat I couldn't imagine a more fun and traditional way to end our wedding. Cheers lads!

I am beyond happy that The Jacobites played for our wedding. They were the best ceilidh band we could have asked for. Everyone was dancing, and the energy was amazing. My husband and I booked The Jacobites for our wedding at Langley Castle knowing that a ceilidh is the ultimate way to get everyone together to dance and have fun, but one thing we didn’t know at the time we booked was just how energetic, friendly and welcoming Thoren, Ciaran and Stuart were. Huge beaming smiles, more patience than anyone I’ve known (there’s only so many times you can confuse left with right!) and most importantly unrivalled talent. I’d say around 50% of our guests had never been to a ceilidh before and we have had so many messages complimenting the band, some are even actively finding ceilidh’s to go to now! Loch Lomond was overwhelmingly beautiful as our last dance, The Jacobites truly know how to many a newly married couple feel like the centre of the world for a night.
