Welcome! We are a small mobile bar company based in Brighton with three different bars available to hire across the south east! Specialising in cocktails and fizz we can provide bespoke bar packages for any event.
The Copper Top was originally an old Rice horse trailer, found and restored by us, Tilly and Ruaridh ('Rory' in Scottish) with our own fair hands! Everything you see was done by the two of us, from design to finish and we're very proud of what we have achieved. The final result is something a bit quirky and will get your guests talking. Tilly is a professional Ecologist so we're pretty eco-conscious.. our bars were both made from recycled pallets, we only use biodegradable straws (made from paper and crushed seashells), recyclable plastic cups and we serve local beers, ales and organic wines where possible!
We also have a beautifully converted teardrop caravan from which we can serve fizz and beer on tap (as well as the odd jug of Pimms or G&T), as well as our Rustic Top pop up wooden bar which is perfect for events inside and out and can cater for up to 200 people.
Together, we have well over 10 years experience working in cocktail bars and restaurants across the UK, France and Switzerland and we want to share some of that with you. We'll be a friendly and professional team to help you from beginning to end. We specialise in cocktails but we're all about personalisation and we will do our very best to make sure our drinks menu and approach is unique to you and your event.
We promise to give you an honest price for a bar that's a bit different and will make your party, event or wedding stand out. We're flexible with packages and rates so just let us know what you're hoping for and we'll see what we can do!

The hosts Ruaridh and Tilly were just incredible, they offered a very friendly and professional service with a personalised range of drinks that suited us and our guests. It was lovely to have the bar set up outside meaning the guests could enjoy the sunshine with a fresh drink. They were so good I’m hiring them for my 40th birthday party!

What services do you offer?
Our bar is perfect for weddings, parties, festivals, corporate events, product launches and even engagement parties. We provide a range of bar hire options including: -Cash Bar (your guests pay for their own drinks- we also take card!) -Pre-paid (you can pre-pay for a certain number of drinks, offered at a discounted rate, and once the limit has been reached we can operate as a cash bar) - Open Bar (if you'd like to treat your guests to free drinks all day/night then we can start up a tab and settle up at the end of the night) - Dry Hire (we provide the bar and the staff and you provide all of the drinks/garnishes/ice etc)
Is it possible to adapt/modify the menu?
Of course! We can fully adapt the menu and can even design bespoke cocktails just for you/your event.
How does the open bar work?
We will usually request a down-payment in advance, which will be agreed between us and you and will be dependent on the number of guests and drinks provided. When we tally up the total spent behind the bar, we will let you know how much is left to pay and settle up with you at the end!

We can serve a range of drinks (bottled beers, wine, prosecco, spirits and mixers and of course our delicious cocktails) as well as work with you to design a bespoke cocktail just for you and your event.
We can provide open bar hire, cash bar options or a combination of the two. Our packages and prices are flexible and we can work around you and your budget!
