This completely unique 5 piece band are known for their covers of modern pop hits re-fashioned into a vintage style, fitting in perfectly with The Alchemists’ signature look and sound. Music genres they cover include; Bossa Nova, Afro-Cuban, swing, soul, jazz, funk, soul, ska and Latin/Brazilian. Their eclectic repertoire enables them to include music for all audiences and events across the UK and internationally. The Alchemists will have you captivated from the moment they set foot on stage at your special occasion.
They deliver a quirky and distinctive performance as they collectively perform as one unit - featuring female lead vocals, guitar, piano, drums and double bass/bass guitar.

We hired The Alchemists for our wedding party and they were phenomenal. They're incredibly talented and had everyone on their feet loving their lives from the first song. They were so good that people were even trying to dance during their sound checks! Their customer service was excellent from day one and the whole band are lovely, lovely people. We've had so many of our guests commenting on how amazing they were, not just in their performance, but also in their vintage, quirky music style. "Just wow! The band sounded amazing and filled the dance floor! Booked them for our wedding and had such a great sound but also great fun and clearly seemed to be enjoying themselves.

"The Alchemists played for my mum’s retirement and birthday party and were a real success! Everyone loved the band and the set they chose. It was unique and very stylish; I think people love hearing something familiar presented in a different way. This is something they did excellently. The arrangements are very fun but also elegant and polished. They were professional and looked great.
The band were so friendly and completely flexible. I would have no hesitation in booking them again or recommending them."

Really thrilled with the Alchemists. They performed for a corporate event where we wanted relaxed (but upbeat) music played at a volume that created a great atmosphere whilst enabling our guests to talk and they managed this perfectly. all really pleasant, personal and professional. I would definitely recommend and rebook.

The Alchemists Trio / Jazz Trio - 2 x 45 Minutes

TRIO PACKAGE For more relaxed or low-key events that still require some sophisticated swing, the Alchemists also offer a trio package. Highlighting the exceptional raw vocal ability of the lead vocalist, Eden, this package offers a stripped back but equally varied offering of jazz, swing, soul, Latin, and funk songs, supported by drums, keys, or double bass. This option is perfect for dinner parties and makes an excellent choice for early evening entertainment to get your party warmed up. The trio package includes two sets of 45 minutes, with a 15 minute break in between.

Vintage Show - Full Band - 2 x 45 Minutes Inc. Requests & DJ

The main special event package includes a diverse range of songs from many genres and decades, reinvented in a captivating vintage style. Guests of all ages will recognise songs that they know and love, and are sure to be swinging before the evening is out. With this option, you can relax in the knowledge that the entertainment is covered. With two sets of live music and a DJ set until midnight, the mood will be ignited and maintained throughout the day. The two live performances can be split at your discretion, but a typical arrangement consists of a vintage party set, followed by an upbeat party set. To end the night is DJ set to keep the party sizzling until midnight. Flexibility is important, and the Alchemists want you to be able to choose what you would like to hear. They can bump up the party with upbeat funk, keep it cool with jazz standards, or get your hips moving with Brazilian samba and Latin beats.
