We are Bobs and Suze, based in Taunton in the heart of beautiful Somerset.
We make artisan pizza baked in our mobile, wood fired pizza oven, at events and private functions in and around the South West. We believe in good food and make everything ourselves using fresh, quality ingredients which are locally and sustainably sourced wherever possible. Our business is founded on ethical and environmental principles and we work with suppliers who share our vision. Our pizza trailer was built using mostly upcycled and recycled materials, large parts of the trailer and stainless steel began their lives as parts of caravans before being transformed into our fabulous wood fired oven. Why the Name? Stone Artisan Pizza is named after a bar that we used to frequent; it was a simple bar with a projector screen on one wall and long wooden benches that promoted easy conversation. It had a little pizza oven in one corner from which they used to produce a steady stream of high quality food that fuelled many a nights drinking with great friends into the small hours. Sadly that bar no longer exists but we remember that bar with fondness and we aim to honour their memory!
Having never organised a party before I was rather overwhelmed with the planning but Poptop and Stone Artisan Pizza made that part of it easy. I input the party details and selected Stone Artisan as my preferred caterer, this was swiftly confirmed and Stone Artisan contacted me directly to discuss the finer details of my requirement. Bobs and Suze filled me with confidence, answered my daft questions and offered me examples based on their experience to ensure my event ran smoothly. On the day Suze and her team arrived on time, set up and served the most amazing pizzas to about 60 guests. They were like pizza fairies, effortlessly topping up the table with delicious fresh pizza until everyone was well fed before packing away and leaving no trace on the lawn that they were ever there. I would absolutely recommend Stone Artisan Pizza to anyone having a party, they are so professional, I was able to leave the catering in their capable hands and focus on enjoying my party.

The guys were excellent kick starting my wedding weekend with delicious pizzas. Loads of my guests commented on how tasty the pizzas were and the people running it were friendly and very accommodating to dietary requirements. From when our friends recommended your services, we were impressed with your consistently good customer service and genuine kindness throughout the process and even more so on the wedding day itself. You worked so hard to put out delicious pizza after pizza to satisfy our hungry guests! You were really flexible in what you were happy to provide, going above and beyond to ensure that our vegan guests had delicious pizza too, and even sourcing special buffalo mozzarella for Harriet's sister. Our only regret is that we didn't get to eat more!
It truly started our married life in the best possible way, and has set the bar high for any future pizza!

We booked stone artisan pizza for the night before our wedding for about 35 guests. This went down so well with all of our guests. The pizzas were so good and everyone that had one really couldn't praise them enough. They were also very chatty with all guests include the children which made everyone feel very welcome when ordering the pizza. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for someone to cater a party or an event, would definitely use them again.

Freshly made woodfired pizza. You will watch each pizza being transformed from our hand rolled balls of dough, being topped with our homemade tomato sauce and then finished with the toppings of your choice. It will then spend less than 2 minutes in our mobile oven and be served piping hot to you. Pizza can't get fresher or more fun than this!
