The Sorelli Ensemble are passionate about providing the highest quality of delivery and presentation in their performances. The girls pride themselves on their friendly demeanour and their ability to connect with their audiences and clients.
Julia & Sara make up the Sorelli Ensemble - a Violin & Cello duo. They have been performing together since 2010 and soon after founded the Sorelli Ensemble - String Duo.
Graduates of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, Julia and Sara have performed throughout the UK and Europe, in venues including: the Royal Albert Hall, The Concertgebouwe, the Royal Festival Hall, St Martin in the Fields and the Birmingham Symphony Hall. They were the featured guest entertainers on Saga Cruises in 2013/2014 and most are recurring Julia has performed regularly at the Proms with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
They take great pleasure in arranging their own music and can tailor their performances to suit the preferred styles of their clients.
With a wide variety of musical repertoire ranging from Baroque to Classical and Folk to Film, they are able to present an entertaining programme to complement any occasion.

We perform at weddings and other events including; corporate functions, birthdays, anniversaries, garden parties...anywhere really!
We tailor our performance to each client and can play from anywhere between 1 hour - 6 hours!
Yes, all of our players have Public Liability Insurance and are members of a musician's board. Julia and Sara are both members of the Musicians' Union and Incorporated Society of Musicians.
Being a duo, we can fit in quite small places! We just need space for 2 chairs, our stands and instruments.
Yes! We arrange our own music and often arrange pieces for clients. This comes at an extra cost of £30 per piece.
We usually play for 45 minute - 1 hour sets at a time but sometimes we are having so much fun that we play for longer! Our breaks are 10 minutes long for bookings up to 3 hours. For bookings of 4 hours or over we take 1 or 2 15 minute breaks also.
We bring our own food and snacks with us but bookings of 5 hours or longer, a hot meal is requested.
