DJ Wayne Smooth was fantastic at our wedding this Saturday at the RAC in London. He setup really quickly and subtly and kept the great vibe all night. Definitely recommend. Fantastic mix of music and judged the needs of the group.
Wayne is a legend! A consummate professional, creative DJ and genuinely good man. At every stage of planning our wedding, Wayne was attentive, full of great ideas and supported us in making our day truly amazing. He has an extensive array of music knowledge and was able to create a mix of songs for our first dance and made invaluable suggestions that helped us plan the day. Wayne was efficient and was forthcoming with all the correct documentation and was reachable at any time. He really is a master of his craft and is the man to get any crowd dancing, moving and grooving. To our surprise, he even made a video of our wedding day which in reality wasn’t a surprise because it was testament to the man and friend he now is. We can’t thank Wayne Smooth enough. He is the man you need for any occasion and will undoubtedly deliver! What a man Smooth by name and hero as a man! Thank you soy much Wayne!

1. Professionalism - Wayne is a top class entertainment industry professional, his level of professionalism was excellent from the start of initial conversations about potential booking right up to DJing at the party. He was very personable and accommodating to requests we made as well as able to provide valuable advice when he saw fit. Wayne knows his craft and quickly understood the brief that he was set. In addition Wayne's time keeping was excellent and always responded promptly to emails and telephone messages.
2. Quality Of Music And Equipment - The music DJ Wayne played at the party was excellent and it was clear that he had read the room. I can honestly say that once Wayne started his session, the party guest went straight to the dance floor and remained on the dance floor right to the end of the party. Wayne's music was a very big contributing factor to the success of the party and in fact guests were saying to me this was the best party ever. The quality of the sound from Wayne's equipment was excellent and it is clear that he takes great pride in his work.
3. Recommendation- I will be happy to engage Wayne to DJ at any party or events I have in the future and I strongly recommend him.

From the first dance until the very last song you were nothing short of awesome and all everyone kept saying the next morning was how much they'd danced all night because the DJ just played tune after tune, anthem after anthem!!

DJ Wayne Smooth has been in the music industry for over 30 years specialising in RnB, Hip Hop, Club Classics, Reggae, Ol Skool Classics and Popular music. An avid and passionate collector of records since the age of 5 years old. Experience has also included having prime time radio shows on a number of local community radio stations in London right into his late 20s.
Very accustomed to playing to a diverse crowd whether it be a corporate event, wedding, birthday or a club night. Having been a resident club DJ for 7 years and guest DJ at several other clubs playing music ranging from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s to date.
Adding to this also has experience in hosting charity concerts and has had the pleasure of introducing to the stage Jazz artists such as Sher Martins, Rappers such as Sharna Sloozie and comedy acts such as Jo Brand to an audience in excess of 300+.
Has also worked in a number of key specialist record shops in the West End and has worked in wholesale record distribution, distributing records across all of London during the days before digital music download.
Is also enthusiastic doing music production and has his own home recording studio, producing and recording demos of unsigned artists looking to achieve his ambition of having some big songs out in the future.
