Just wanted to thank you so so much for making my mother’s 84th birthday so special! It was particularly important as we couldn’t see her due to lockdown. She described how a lovely delivery man asked if she was the birthday girl and proceeded to sing Happy Birthday to her! Apparently the food was delicious and very generous. This is a fabulous way to send a little happiness to a loved one. Thank you again

I cannot recommend the Afternoon Tea Service enough. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious and the cakes simply scrumptious (especially the chocolate brownie).

We booked simply good food for my sisters hen party and I don’t know where to start... they where amazing: professional, super tasty, and they made the whole experience completely stress free which was a big concern as I had never hired private caterers before. I have only good things to say about simply good food also I would highly recommend the waitressing service. You get an absolute steal with what they charge and top quality food! Everything from the actual delivery (the afternoon tea boxes were presented on a black table in front of the house for contactless collection) to the quality of quantity of the food. Came across the company out of sheer luck and I have never been more amazed at how efficient the services provided was. From start to finish both Karl and Kerrie were kind polite and professional keeping me informed of every progress with my order. Karl from Simply just Good Food provided fantastic food and service. We had a grazing table one evening and then a 3 course meal the next. The food was delicious and Karl and his team left the venue so tidy with nothing for us to do except chill out after a fantastic meal! Would highly recommend.

Karl and his team were fantastic, they managed to cater for all 38 of us in our private work Christmas party, no sweat! Unfortunately we may have been slightly tipsy and forgot to take pictures of the dishes but they were beautiful, well presented and tasty. Also a big thank you for being able to alter the menu to fit everyone's restrictions, I know its not an easy task but it was a big help - see you again next year! ;)

"We decided to come up with something special for my mother’s 85th. We booked a couple of nights in two converted train carriages. Rather than take her out for a meal we decided to treat her to catering in the carriage. Cue Pink Pineapple. Adam and Izzy turned up and in very cramped conditions produced the most wonderful meal. Thanks to Karl at Pink Pineapple for providing us with a beautifully presented and very tasty buffet. There was good communication beforehand and Karl was able to deliver and set up in plenty of time for our party. The quality of the food was exceptional with everything well flavoured. We'll certainly be keeping Pink Pineapple in mind for any future events we want catered.

We hired Pink Pineapple Catering for a work summer social. They provided us enough food for 40 people, with the option of increasing this if more people showed up on the day. The food was Fantastic and their customer service was professional. The next day numerous people in the office came up to me saying how good the fish and chips were. If I host a similar function again I will definitely go for them.

We chose Karl for the catering of our daughters 30th birthday. Great selection of hot and cold food , desserts were to die for , Karl and his team of staff were both professional and accommodating to all of our needs , we would highly recommend.

"Karl and Sharon took over my kitchen on New Year's Eve and cooked a fabulous dinner for 12. Their presence was completely discreet and unimposing, with Karl busy in the kitchen and Sharon tending to our every need. The menu was simple yet elegant and sophisticated: arancini, served on a dressed salad, fillet steak with fondant potatoes and a selection of vegetables, which were cooked to perfection. This was followed by chocolate fondant puddings and vanilla ice cream. The cheese was presented beautifully. My kitchen was immaculate at the end of the evening, which was an enormous treat in itself!
I cannot recommend Karl and Sharon highly enough. Absolutely superb. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening."

Very efficient and friendly service. Food was of an excellent quality and served beautifully with garnish. Only recommendation would be for the scones to be separate from jam, butter and cream to give choice. Unfortunately, I don't like butter on my scones so didn't have any but otherwise I really enjoyed the rest. Many Thanks

Thankyou for our afternoon tea which arrived early which I was relieved about. The driver adhered to social distancing and non contact which was great as we are sheilding and that is why I selected you.

My only issue was with labeling. I found it hard to see which cakes were non dairy out of the scones and cupcakes as these were boxed together. But everything else was obvious. The sandwiches were perfect but wish we had more. Great communication from Kerrie and Karl who were very reassuring.

Food was delivered punctually and in good condition. They were presented nicely too.

The selection of cakes was brilliant, we were especially fond of the bakewell tart things. Sandwiches were a little underwhelming in comparison but they were plentiful with he additional 3rd sandwich per person.

If we were being picky I would have preferred scones delivered without butter, jam and cream already applied - maybe in small pots. Small complaint really.

Once I understood the ordering process, it was very straightforward to place the order. All communications were handled efficiently and courteously. The delivery was precisely on time and the food was excellent.

The food was of a nice standard but did seem quite expensive. The price was probably in line with afternoon teas you would have at a venue but there you would get tea/coffee included and waiter service.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my dad during lock down! Dad was thrilled and said the quality and amount was great, with leftovers for today too! My parents said the food tasted scrummy and were touched by the happy birthday from a safe distance by the delivery driver! Thank you.

Pink Pineapple arrived early to set up, were very efficient and great to deal with. Good communication before the event. Jacket potatoes came with a good selection of toppings. Could have done with a bit of butter on the potatoes otherwise no complaints.

Fish and Chips for a 60th Birthday party. Guests were thrilled to have something different. The quality of the food was very good and the service was excellent. I would certainly use Pink Pineapple Catering for another celebration/event. Thanks to Karl and his team.

They were very responsive to my short-notice request for an afternoon tea to make my daughter’s 16th birthday during lock-down a memorable event. The food was delicious, however, because of COVID-19, they were not able to present the food beautifully, which is an important part of an afternoon tea experience - 5 paper plates wrapped in huge quantities of cellophane - so I think they may have over-compensated with the amount of food to justify the price. To be honest, there was too much and a whole plate of food had to be binned after a couple of days.

Very disappointing. Bread was dry with not much filling. Appeared to be supermarket bought cakes that had just had fillings or toppings added. We have a number of after teas were really looking forward to it. Sadly it didn't live up to our expectations.

Not good service. Appreciate that it was mother's day, arrived 5 hours late and hardly any filling in the sandwiches, fruit was not at its best. which make me think they had forgot the order and when they were contacted just throw something together quickly. So I would say not worth the money.

Not a great impression at all. Ordered afternoon tea for my parents anniversary and only sandwiches were delivered

I was not very impressed at all. I had paid £75 for afternoon tea for 4 people. It was supposed to arrive at 12:30. It had passed this time, my 2 year old daughter was getting hungry and grumpy because of this. On top of that I had to spoil the suprise as I had arranged it for my husband and he was wondering what we were having for lunch. After several calls to the company our food arrived at 01:25. None of us were impressed with the food that arrived. I had asked for no butter on 1 lot of sandwiches, however the majority of sandwiches did have butter on. I felt that there was not enough cakes for 4 people. Usually with afternoon tea you each get to try all of the cakes. We had to cut the bite size cakes in half so we could each try a bit of everything. The scones were the worst I have ever tasted. Worst afternoon tea I have had and I have had quite a few. I'm not one to leave reviews and I hate to leave a bad review but it really was a let down in all aspects.
