Silver Street Ceilidh Band

Silver Street Ceilidh Band were absolutely incredible. They were great with communication from the start, and always professional whilst also being really friendly. We had a wonderful time at our wedding - everyone said what a fantastic band they were, and it was obvious that it was a huge success. Even people who weren't familiar with ceilidhs got stuck in, and it went so well that another couple at our wedding said they would like one at theirs next year. Martin's instructions were clear, we fit in a great range of dances, and the playing was just brilliant throughout. I can't praise them or recommend them enough. They are everything you could want in a ceilidh band!

Silver Street Ceilidh Band played at our wedding in July this year - luckily just after restrictions were lifted so we could dance. And boy did we dance!😄 The band created a fantastic atmosphere which meant that everybody got up and threw themselves into the spirit of the ceilidh. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves (and keep taking about the fun they had).Even the few who weren't dancing enjoyed laughing at everyone else making a fool of themselves! As both my husband and I are from Scotland, it was lovely to be able to be able to bring a taste of Scotland to the south of England for our wedding. The music and caller were fabulous and the band members were all professional and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for making our special day that extra bit special❤️

Silver street ceilidh band played our wedding, they were incredible. Musically as a band they were excellent, Martin was extremely helpful with his calling and providing some demonstrations. All band members very friendly and chatted to guests. Would absolutely recommend them if you’re after a ceilidh band! Thanks so much guys!

Fantastic in every way. So easy to work with before the event and then on the night it was just so fun. They are able to create a great atmosphere and encourage everyone to participate or enjoy watching. Great musicians and very flexible.

We had a great experience from start to finish with these guys. Martin and I had a good chat through things over the phone in advance of our wedding to answer some of my questions and work out a few logistics and finer details. Martin was very reassuring and accommodating and followed up promptly with details as promised. On the big day, the band were fantastic. They got themselves set up and adapted without any trouble to a delayed start (our meal had overrun). The music sounded great and the calling was really clear and with just the right amount of explanations to get everyone dancing and more or less(!) doing the right things whilst still keeping things moving nicely. Nearly all our guests, young and old, ended up getting stuck in, which was great fun and made our day extra memorable for everyone. Highly recommended!
