Red Herring Events

The pre booking info confirmed that Kieran the manager was free and would love to host the event- ended up being someone else. I found this out on the day which meant I hadn’t been able to fully explain everything to this new people about my requirements. I found out from the new actors that they had only just been told my event was a surprise to the guests after I queried whether or not they knew that on the day- just seemed like poor communication. I don’t believe all of my info was passed on, as I specifically booked this event with the understanding that as there are 2 actors that the kids would be kept entertained too. Realistically we had fun but it was a heck of a lot of money to read off a script (the actors didn’t seem too aware of the script either). The actors were lovely though and tried, I just think they didn’t have the full info. Also, I was told to not worry as Kieran would communicate with the restaurant about the event and timings of courses etc however again, the actors had me go through this on the day so I don’t believe this was communicated or the service I was promised. The booking process was simple and straight forward but I wouldn’t book again or recommend given this experience sadly.

From start to finish Red Herring were on the ball. Communication and attentiveness were both fantastic. Shout out to Kieran and Alexandra for all the hard work they put into this event. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience; we held our murder mystery event before dinner, and it was a great opener to the evening. Fantastic!

We needs a murder mystery for 18 people and stumbled across Red Herring. Not only did we get all the help we needed but we also had the game personalised to be based around the air BnB mansion we had hired for the event to make it a little more special. I was amazed at the cost to have this done and the speed they produced it. Every aspect of the murder mystery was perfect. I can't rate these guys enough.
