Permission to Rock

I have booked Dave for a couple of events that I have hosted. He has an amazing voice and such a fabulous collection of songs that he can sing. He has always lived up our parties. I can't recommend him enough. Very helpful will send out a full list of tracks and will take requests too! I would have no hesitation in booking him for any future event I was hosting

Dave did the music for my husband's 50th in 2017, and then my 50th in 2023. I knew when I was planning my party that I would be booking Dave - he was so brilliant to work with the first time! Dave is one of the easiest people to liaise with when planning. He makes every effort to understand your needs and timings, and is flexible in terms with song choices, whether looking for a mix of live singing, using playlist, or 'karaoke' style for guests to join in. He will also adapt on the day/evening if the guests are making specific song requests and will allow them to sing into the microphone, whilst he accompanies on guitar - it's amazing how many seemingly shy friends and family, suddenly become budding Rock Stars! I wouldn't hesitate booking Dave again and have wonderful memories to thank him for.

Permission to rock was amazing at our wedding. Dave got everyone up dancing from the moment he started playing and I had so many of my guests say how incredible Dave was and how great he sounded. Dave has an excellent voice and his repertoire of songs were perfect for a party. He has a fantastic voice and is a very talented guitarist but he is also a showman who interacted with our guests and introduced our first dance and my father/ daughter dance. Dave was also kind enough to learn a song that was important to me and my husband and he performed it perfectly and I cannot thank him enough for making our day that bit more special and for getting the party started.

I booked Dave as soon as I came across his website. I thought he had an amazing voice and loved the fact he used a backing track, electric guitar and had a fabulous rocking song set list! He also added Sweet Caroline at my request and sang it as well as the man himself! Some of the staff at the pub thought we had a DJ playing upstairs and were surprised at the quality of Dave’s voice! Would definitely highly recommend him to any event and definitely got us all up dancing!
