Papa Ji absolutely saved our event. We were let down last minute and they stepped in with almost no notice, turned up with the food truck and delivered service that was honestly next-level. The chicken was unreal — tender, full of flavour and exactly the kind of food that makes a crowd wake up. Guests were raving from the first bite, and several said it was the best chicken they’d had at any event, ever.
But beyond the food, the customer service is what really stood out. Calm, organised, reassuring and completely professional. They handled everything without stress, kept us updated, and served every guest with a smile. You’d never have known they were booked at the last minute; the whole setup looked sharp, the truck looked incredible and the team worked like a well-oiled machine.
They didn’t just cater the event — they genuinely saved the day. Everyone left happy, full and impressed. We couldn’t recommend Papa Ji highly enough.

We had Papa Ji cater our party in Northampton and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The chicken was the star of the night — tender, perfectly seasoned and full of that signature Papa Ji flavour everyone talks about. Guests were genuinely blown away by how good it was. The extras were just as impressive: crispy chips, bold sauces and sides that actually added to the meal instead of feeling like fillers. Everything tasted fresh, balanced and properly thought through.
What really stood out was the service. The team were organised, friendly and completely on top of everything. They handled the setup smoothly, kept the food flowing even when the queue got busy, and interacted with guests in a way that made the whole evening feel warm and relaxed. People noticed the professionalism.
All night we had guests coming up to us saying it was some of the best chicken they’d ever had at an event. Several even asked for the details straight away. Papa Ji made our Northampton party feel special, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We booked the loaded box package for our wedding party and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. After a long day, guests wanted something filling, fun and full of flavour — and these boxes delivered exactly that. People were actually excited when they saw the food coming out. The boxes looked brilliant, packed neatly with chicken, chips, slaw and sauces that made the whole thing feel like a proper feast.
The chicken was tender and bursting with flavour, and the toppings worked together perfectly. It wasn’t messy or overly heavy, just really satisfying food that everyone enjoyed, from the younger guests to the older ones. Even people who said they “don’t usually eat much at weddings” cleared their boxes.
The service team were friendly, calm and completely professional. They moved quickly, kept the line flowing and made sure everything stayed hot and fresh. It made the whole evening feel easy for us, which was a huge relief.
We had so many compliments throughout the night, and loads of guests asked who catered for us. The loaded box package brought energy, flavour and that relaxed wedding vibe we wanted. We’d recommend it in a heartbeat.

We ordered the loaded box package for our event and it was a massive success from start to finish. Guests absolutely loved the concept because it felt like a proper street-food feast in one box — generous portions, bold flavours and everything layered beautifully. Each box looked impressive, smelled incredible and was packed with enough food to satisfy even the hungriest guests.
The chicken options were a standout. Every flavour had its own personality — from the original seasoning to the spicier choices — and the chicken itself was juicy, tender and properly marinated. The veg options weren’t just filler either; they were full of flavour and just as popular with the crowd. You could tell real effort went into making sure every topping tasted good on its own, not just when mixed together.
