Street Food and Grazing Tables
Street Food menu is based on variations of toppings that brings the essence of Levant and wows everyone remarkably especially when it is combined with 2 or 3 topping choices.
- Chicken Shawarma - (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)
Thinly sliced chicken breast marinated in Lebanese style shawarma spice, grilled and served with Amba and Yogurt Mint Garlic sauce.
- Hamshuka - (GF, DF)
Israeli style beef ragu cooked with Yemeni spice mix Hawaij, paprika and tomato sauce. Served with Amba and Yogurt Mint Garlic sauce.
- Halloumi Fries - (Vegetarian, GF)
Authentic Cypriot cheese, coated with za'atar and polenta, served with Yogurt Mint Garlic sauce and pomegranate molasses.
- Falafel - (Vegan, GF, DF)
Tel Aviv style chickpea falafels made with lush green with fresh coriander, parsley, sweet onions, garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric and carrots, served with Amba sauce.
All these toppings are usually topped on top of a base which consists of:
- Mideast style slaw with cardamom, mint, coriander and fennel seeds
- Mjaddara Rice cooked with cinnamon then mixed together with aromatic green lentils and caramelised onions
- Or a chopped salad with lettuce, rocket leaves and cherry tomatoes
Everything then garnished with red onions with sumac, fresh coriander and parsley, Aleppo peppers and dressed with a variety of sauces like Amba Sauce, Yogurt Mint Garlic and Pomegranate Molasses. A half of wholemeal pita bread is served on the side. Everything is cooked, assembled and served on the spot from the food truck Ozi Lala.
The most popular option is the Party Combo; any choice of 2 toppings from the above menu. Most people enjoy the combo of Chicken Shawarma and Halloumi Fries combination, but if no meat required then it can be a Veg Combo of Halloumi Fries and Falafels. The Feast Combo is where a third offer of topping is added to the Party Combo that will allow all the guests to absolutely indulge themselves in the flavours of Levant and remember it for some time.
Other than Street Food, I also offer an impressive Grazing Table that creates an indulging scene and a fantastic atmosphere that lasts for hours. Grazing Tables are a metre or longer tables carefully arranged and completely covered with rich arrangements of delicious cheeses, deli and charcuterie cuts, fresh & dried fruits, a mix of nuts, artisan bread & crackers, dips, chutneys, olives and mezes like bulgur salad, hummus, babagannush, tzatziki from the Levant. This rich arrangement can be combined with other canapes like falafels, chicken shawarma lollipops, beef kofta meatballs. It is almost guaranteed that your guests have not seen anything like that and probably will not see again for a long time.
Each table is unique! A blueprint is created and designed after consultation with the host together. That also allows me to find out specific dietary requirements and allergies if any needed to be addressed. It usually starts with by selecting one of those below and play with some ideas and decide on a few details to set the table the best way possible to serve its intended expectations. Each table can be fully customised and can add or take away things to find its perfect balance.
