Description
We have a mobile smoker so we can smoke an array of foods. We operate out of a small trailer which is fully equipped so we can go completely off the grid. Gas certificate is displayed. We are a new company and we have just had an EHO inspection, and we have received a 5*. We believe that food can taste just as good without all the added nasties. All our ingredients are traceable and from reputable companies.
We are a new company but between myself and my wife we have 30 years catering experience. I have worked in a children's nursery as their chef and have completed a nutrition course and a master class within the company. We are confident that our food will not disappoint.

70 guests ranging from 6 months to 60 were served great, tasty food.
The menu was perfect for an informal birthday party. Pulled pork was fabulous.
I have no hesitation in recommending On The Go Foods to any party host.
When you consider the cost of buying food, time to prep, time to cook, less time with guests etc - Jo and Darryl provide the perfect solution.
We will use again and so will many of our friends.
Thanks also to Poptop for providing a great platform that makes the process so simple.

• June 15, 2019What can I say? 'On The Go' foods provided the perfect evening catering to our party. They arrived in good time and were able to set up quickly and discretely. When the food arrived it was of the highest quality, with only good comments from all the party goers. They were flexible as well, preparing an additional 10 meals on the night when the numbers were higher than expected.
I would happily recommend them to anyone and now need to find an excuse to have another party....

I would definitely use their services again, catering for over 300 people I am assuming can be a challenge, the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure the event was a huge success.

On The Go Foods catered our 40th birthday party for 30 guests at a private residence. They're completely self sufficient and happy to cater to various needs, including gluten free and vegetarian. The van looked great on our driveway and our guests were excited by the delicious smells coming from it. The choices on the menu were popular and the food went down really well. Darryl & Jo at On The Go are really friendly and care about the food they prepare, giving a healthy twist to a tempting menu. Another bonus is that there was no food waste and very little non-recyclable waste, as well as great value for money. We would wholeheartedly recommend them!
- What services do you offer?we provide quality home cooked foods for birthdays, weddings, funerals and general get togethers.
- Do you offer a venue for the banquet?no sorry my house isn't big enough
- Do you cook in the same location as the banquet?yes all food cooked on the day the pulled pork is smoked 14 hours in advance
- Is it possible to adapt/modify the menu?yes
- What kind of cuisine do you offer?homemade foods based on a bbq theme or any theme you require
- Do you offer special menus?no but we can Taylor the menus to the designs and specification of the customer
- Do you also offer a wedding cake?yes we can offer cakes for weddings birthdays events etc
- How does the open bar work?we don't have a bar
- What is included in the menu?all served with salad, pickle and coleslaw
Set List/Services
we sell steak burgers, bratwurst hot dogs, bbq chicken or chicken Caesar wraps, jacket potatoes, pulled pork, the pork is smoked on our very own pellet smoker so we can smoke an array of different meats to suit your needs. Everything we make is homemade apart from the bread and the hot dogs but in the future its something were going to look into.
