Wanted to let you know that banana leaf are absolutely fantastic. We had the most amazing meal this Saturday evening for 80 guests. The food was exceptional and the feedback was outstanding from everybody.

Banana Leaf were amazing. Five stars *****. The food was delicious. All cooked in front of the guests. Everyone complemented us on how much they enjoyed the food and the street food vibe. Banana Leaf set up on our driveway as arranged and we had party guests queuing down the street which added to the festival feel of our event. From the minute I contacted Banana Leaf they were attentive and accommodating. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to everyone I know. Shahid was a joy to work with and even came and found my husband and I during the party and handed us food as he knew we as hosts would be busy and forget to eat. Very easy to communicate with and plan the event. The food was halal, gluten free and dairy free with meat and vegan options. They arrived on time, and cleared away completely afterwards. Extremely good . We loved it and it made a great addition to our party. Banana Leaf certainly helped to make it a fabulous party and a night to remember. Thank you to the team at Banana Leaf

I could not be more pleased with Banana Leaf. The guys did a great job. They arrived when they said they would, set up with a minimum of fuss and disruption and proceeded to cook a simply delicious meal, that my guests absolutely raved about. I am so pleased with what they did that I plan on using them for a work-related function that I am arranging in London next summer.

We hired Bananaleaf for a work lunch and the comments were amazing! Extremely friendly, polite and enthusiastic. All staff were happy and many commented that the portion size was generous and walked away feeling very full, we would rebook again without hesitation!

Shahid was very helpful and responsive throughout the booking process and menu selection. On the evening despite a downpour of rain just as he and his wife arrived they put up the stand and got set up so we weren't delayed. The food selection catered for a range of tastes and absolutely everyone said it was delicious with a number of our guests opting for second helpings. Both the chicken and beef were perfectly spiced with the option of a spicy hot garnish that could be eaten along side for those that really like spicy food.
Both Shahid and his wife were delightful and and our guests commented on how nice they were, at the end of the service they cleared down everything leaving our garden spotless. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Banana Leaf was excellent. The food was amazing and all the guest said how much they enjoyed it ( we had vegan, beef ad chicken curry with sides of samosas). Shahid was so professional from when he contacted me to discuss food and organize the events , to the set up on the day and clearing away. It took l the stress out of catering and was a lovely event in itself seeing Shahid and Ibrahim cook this wonderful food in the garden. I would highly recommend them .

We organised an event for 40 people last weekend and Bananaleaf provided us with wonderful food. The service was excellent, and the team were friendly and informative. They arrived on time, set up quickly and professionally and served up a range of delicious dishes that looked and smelled fantastic. We highly recommend the food!!!!

The Bananaleaf team catered an amazing meal at our home for around 45 people. They set up a marquee on our drive and cooked outside. Everybody loved the Malaysian food, they were so friendly and professional and did everything they could to make the evening perfect. We will definitely use them again for a future event. Highly recommended

I booked Bananaleaf for a small gathering to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Shahid was a delight to deal with throughout the booking process and menu selection and responded promptly to my emails. On the day the food was absolutely delicious and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed it. It made for a fuss free and memorable evening as Shahid managed everything, was charming with my guests and super-calm and organised. Fabulous value for money, I can highly recommend.

The food was wonderful and Shahid did a top job both before and after the evening. So many people came up to me after the party to say how much they enjoyed the food.

We used Bananaleaf for my mum’s 70th birthday celebration and were massively impressed. Every single one of the guests commented on how delicious the food was and the theatre style cooking added to the experience. We had 3 dishes to choose from and gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters were all catered for.
The service was faultless and the guys were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. I highly recommend and will definitely use them again in the future.

Bananaleaf provided the catering for my wife's 40th birthday party and went down fantastically well, I don't think there was any food left at all by the end!! Shahid was professional, courteous and kept me informed well in advance including several planning discussions prior to event. I wanted a street food/festival theme for the event and Bananaleaf fitted perfectly! The food was delicious with friends contacting me after the event to reiterate how much they enjoyed the food. Bananaleaf was terrific for my party. I wanted a vegan feast and Shahid delivered exactly that. Two delicious curry options served beautifully on a banana leaf. He was thoughtful, imaginative and attentive throughout the booking process and charming on the night. Cleared everything away and disappeared without a fuss. Great value - much better price than many of the others. I would happily recommend Banana leaf for any party.

Great service and food, the guests loved it! Shahid was accommodating in letting us pick the menu, I'd recomend the beef rendang which was a favourite amongst the guests. Overall great service and great guy.

Our recent wedding reception on 5th May 2023 catered by Banana Leaf was nothing short of phenomenal. I must say, their service surpassed all our expectations and set the bar incredibly high for any future events we'll be hosting.

The food was the highlight of our celebration, receiving high praises from all our guests. Banana Leaf showcased a splendid array of dishes, with a perfect blend of traditional and innovative cuisine. The use of authentic spices and fresh ingredients led to a spread that was visually delightful and tantalizing to the palate. It was the perfect combination of traditional authenticity and modern culinary skills.

The food supplied by Banana Leaf was amazing, unfortunately they were late arriving and this pushed back the timings of our wedding. One of the curries was then not available when service started, which meant many people didn't have the curry they wanted or had to queue twice for food. Banana Leaf did offer a discount following these problems, which was appreciated.
Communication prior to the wedding was great and when the food was served it was very good.

Delicious, flavorsome food,
Banana Leaf were very accommodating and flexible with their menu choices. I was hosting a family event and had a considerable number of children attending. Furthermore, I had a number of vegetarian guests and one very seriously dairy intolerant guest despite these hurdles Shahid was able to accommodate all these dietary requirements. Communication was excellent and all my queries were answered promptly. My guests and I found the food to be absolutely delicious and I recommend Shahid and his team whole heartedly. The only reason I haven’t awarded the full 5 stars is because set up was a little less smooth than I’d hoped for, but this was only a minor glitch and didn’t affect my or my guest’s enjoyment.

The actual food itself was incredible, all my guests were blown away by how delicious it was, and it was exactly what we wanted. The staff were very friendly and kind to the guests, and Shahid worked very hard. However, the organisation was poor and caused lots of stress, both before and during the day. In future, all plans and details should be checked thoroughly by Shahid months before to avoid this last minute stress and chaos. This would not put me off using the service again, as it really was so tasty.
