We did not expect such a large gathering. Sam was cool calm and so undercontrol. What a fantastic artist. I caught glimpses of his drawings and they were spot on. Everyone walked away smiling. Sam was a big asset to our festival.

Sam was a great addition to a corporate day of sitting and working on strategy. He spent 15 minutes showing us some tips on how to draw a caricature - we then tried it - and he then showed us how it should be done by drawing 12 of us individually. Thank you Sam - we really enjoyed it!

Jubilee Street party was excellent thanks to Sam Allen our Caracaturist. He came dressed the part in a bright blazer, lots of banter, made our guests feel at ease & so talented. Did sketches so quickly and humorously. Got round all our family groups. He was an absolute delight and made our event a huge success. Everyone sang his praises. We would DEFINITELY use him again. Our wedding was due to take place in May. Due to Covid we had to rearrange to 1st September.
We had booked Sam as entertainment for our guests and sadly due to restrictions our wedding became very different to our original am plan. Therefore our booking with Sam was cancelled.
However Sam was brilliant from the moment we booked him, his communication was excellent and we kept him updated throughout lockdown. Sam was so flexible and was happy to accommodate any change of plans.
As our wedding consisted of 10 guests, Sam kindly agreed to provide a drawing of my husband and I so that our guests could sign this!
The picture was amazing and Sam completed this using some photos of us and a picture of the dress and suit.
I am so grateful to Sam and absolutely love the drawing he provided.

Sam is such a gentleman, really engaged with all our guests and constantly had a queue at his table! Such a welcoming guy that made everyone feel relaxed. I've been inundated with compliments for booking Sam as the entertainment at our event, he was much loved by everyone who attended. During a pandemic and unaware of what our final numbers would actual be for our wedding, Sam was beyond accommodating and helpful. He produced 150 (plus a few more) individual caricatures for our guest place names and MY WORD our guests LOVED them!!!

As a caricaturist, I'm there for the time that I'm booked. So a minimum of two hours and up to 6 hours if need be.
If you book me for a wedding, I'll create each caricature on exclusively headed paper as a souvenir of the event.
I'm a caricaturist . However, I also teach cartoon classes where I encourage everyone to join in with me with tips, tricks and techniques on how to cartoon just about anything. I also create cartoons as part of live business events. This involves recording the topics discussed in cartoon form.
If I'm caricaturing, I'll provide all of the art materials I'll need to fulfil a booking.
I don't need time to prepare for an event where I'm caricaturing. If I run a cartoon class, I just need to know beforehand how many guests will be in attendance and chairs on the day.

28 days before an event. If a booking is made less than 28 days before, full payment will be due.
Every drawing is signed by myself and presented to the guest in question. I'll arrive at the event with enough pens and paper to sketch as many people as possible in the chosen time. Depending on the venue, I'm happy to sit in one spot or mingle with those present. To secure your date, all you need to do is pay the initial deposit. My bank details will be sent to you with an invoice once all the details of the event have been agreed upon. I also ask for payment in advance of the booking so that I can focus on entertaining your guests upon arrival. Thank you!
