Description
Miriam is a professional Harpist, training Music-Therapist, Arranger and member of the ISM. Having taken lessons in piano and violin from aged five, she developed an interest in the harp and began studying with acclaimed harpist Angela Moore. She later received two medals for her performances at Ealing Festival and won the cup for the harp section in 2011. She went on to study harp at the University of Southampton and since graduating in 2017, performs regularly at a variety of different functions around London and its surrounding areas. She has played at numerous prestigious and historical venues such as Hartwell House, Bletchley Park and Strawberry Hill House, and also volunteers as a performer for various charities.
Miriam's extensive repertoire includes titles from a wide range of different musical genres, such as pop, alternative, jazz, film and theatre, classical, and celtic/traditional. She also writes her own arrangements for the harp, examples of which can be found online. Either select your favourite titles from her set list (found in package listing) or Miriam can choose herself based on your genre preference and event type. She is also happy to take one or two special requests with plenty of notice!
Miriam performs acoustically on her mahogany and gold Daphne 47 harp, which adds a beautiful visual aesthetic to any event. Her friendly and professional manner combined with the beautiful but unobtrusive ambience created by her harp will be sure to help make your event a truly special and memorable occasion.

• June 11, 2022Miriam is quite simply the most sweetest, loveliest person I have ever met. It was an honour to have her play at our wedding. She played the exact rendition of a theme tune I asked to be played as we all walked down the aisle and it was beautiful. Her beautiful music set the tone for our special day.
Thank you so much Miriam ❤️

• May 1, 2022Miriam was such a delight to have play at our wedding. She accompanied the ceremony and drinks reception, and brought a real elegance to the day. She was incredibly accommodating regarding timings and where she was to play. Miriam also brought together a truly beautiful cover of one of our favourite songs for the bride to walk down the aisle to. We would highly recommend Miriam for any event.

• Oct. 23, 2021Miriam played beautifully and guests mentioned how nice the music was in the background when playing during our receipt drinks as well as being able to enjoy the music before the ceremony started. She kept in contact throughout the planning stages so I had full confidence on the day. Would highly recommend.
