Mariachi Tequila

I shopped around for a Mariachi band that could specifically perform rock/pop covers. I was promised that this band would deliver that. They did not. The usual singer was feeling poorly so they sent along a replacement who could not perform ANY rock songs. They could only perform Mexican songs. This was a very expensive suprise present for 2 of my best friends. The band overall were good, and I have no complaints about them personally. My problem is with the manager, who told me after my initial enquiry that this band could definitely perform what I wanted. SHE FAILED TO CONTACT ME ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT AND OFFER ME AN OPTION TO CANCEL, DUE TO THE BAND NO LONGER BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE WHAT I HAD BOOKED THEM FOR. She mentioned to me that the band did ONE pop song - Stand By Me by Ben E King. (Not a pop song in my opinion, and even if it was ...ONE non Mexican song does not make up for the entire set list.) The band looked very confused when they arrived and I asked them which rock songs they were going to perform. My guests were not aware of the band being booked, and danced and sang anyway, but they WERE confused as to why I would book a band to do Mexican songs when there are lots of Mariachi bands out there that do cover versions of rock and pop songs.

These guys are good musicians and really helped create the proper atmosphere of a Fiesta!

The band were fantastic! Slight communication issues as we were on a boat and parking etc was tricky but all worked out! Music was brilliant :)

5 stars – Work Summer Social – Weds 19th July 2023 We hired Mariachi Tequilla for our rooftop summer social and they were absolutely amazing! The band played a mixture of Mexican classics as well as pop twists which went down so well with the party. The band really helped create a party atmosphere and has been the talk of the office ever since the event. The band were also accommodating to timings after a slight delay with people arriving, and when they started made sure the whole evening was effortless for the organising team. The band were excellent, great fun and our guests loved it. They were communicative and helpful in the lead up to our party and very polite. I would definitely use them again, they really gave our party an extra bit of magic.
