I am a professional, magician, puppeteer, ventriloquist, circus performer and balloon modeller.
The stars of my entertainment are the puppets.
Children love these adorable, funny characters. Sid the Kid - always hungry and asking for food.
Billy the Bird - a lovable and naughty bird who loves messing about. Possum - a sleepy fluffy little guy with a talent for voices. My party package is designed to suit a mix of ages - ideal for Birthday Parties Christenings and Weddings.
The entertainment consists of:
Circus Time - the children get the chance to plate spin, Chinese Cloth twirl and juggle silk scarves.
Magic Show - Fun magic and puppets.
For Birthday parties I always make sure the birthday child helps with some of the magic tricks, especially the one at the end which involves cake.
The puppets in the show love talking to the children and have loads of fun.
I am a ventriloquist and the puppets often accuse me of putting words in to their mouths.
I have my own party music but if you require anything specific just bring it along on a memory stick or
SD card and I'll play it on my system.
Balloons
I make animal balloons for all the children.
For the two hour package I play balloon games - Mouse Flying is a great favourite (no mice hurt!)

Magician Marvin was great for my sons 4th birthday party. He was very calm and patient with all of the children who as children do, got very over excited at times. He arrived ahead of our agreed time slot to enable his set up and the management of his allocated time at the party was very well planned. The children, parents and grandparents all had lots of fun a real entertainer with lots of laughter, surprises and very engaging tricks for all. I would certainly recommend him for children’s parties as your entertainment. Thank you again for a great party!

Marvin was great the kids loved him. He managed to keep a room of 3-4 year olds engaged for nearly an hour which is no easy task!

Magician Marvin is fantastic!! We had a party for small group aged from 2-8 years in our private facility. Marvin was very aware of the risk assessments and safety measures for the pandemic, but still provided top class entertainment for the whole group, adults included. The puppet shows and magic tricks were amazing, excellent value for money and really well thought out. The birthday boys felt special and everyone had a lovely afternoon. A seasoned professional who was able to entertain 40 four year olds as well as older kids and more importantly all the adults!
We booked Marvin for our son’s 4th birthday party and he kept everyone entertained for the full 2 hours. Great comedy mixed with tongue in cheek humour and great actual magic especially his slide of hand.
The kids loved the puppets and the interaction with the spinning plates and handkerchiefs and our sone felt extra special as Marvin’s routine centred around him on numerous occasions, giving the birthday boy the spotlight amongst his friends and family.
Fantastic value for money, a lovely genuine and sincere man and we would highly recommend him!

Booked for a 4 year olds birthday party. The kids all had an amazing time. Marvin was excellent and kept the kids entertained for a full 2 hrs. Well worth every penny.

My set is versatile and can play to a couple of hundred or ten. The set up for either big or small venue is only 20 minutes.

I have many years experience working with children. As well as being a children's entertainer I run a small arts company supplying arts activities for young people. These activities vary from performance storytelling, shadow theatre, drama, circus skills and much more. Fifteen years ago I founded a youth theatre group that have produced many theatre events. The group meet once a week.
