I loved the way using Poptop I could see the artists availability and book the act I wanted there and then. You have to wait for the artist to confirm but the system worked well and website backup was very good.
Having read the reviews, we picked Lara to sing a selection for modern and old classics for a fun family and friends catch up evening. She was brilliant, lovely voice and very professional. She had everyone up dancing and singing so by 7.30pm we had a full on party going, and all before dinner.....

Lara was simply amazing. I had asked her to sing at my mother's funeral. She helped me navigate the process of landing on the right songs and found herself having to learn two new songs from scratch. She was sensitive to the process and helpful in ensuring that she was in contact with just the right people to make the timing just right. Above everything else she sung both songs beautifully. She contributed heavily to a beautiful send off for Mum. I look forward to working with her in the future on happier events.

Lara appeared at my daughter's candlelit wedding blessing over Christmas in a beautiful barn in the Cotswolds. I wanted to organize a surprise performance at the ceremony for the happy couple and with Lara's help we pulled it off. My daughter and her husband had no idea that they were being treated to their chosen songs live. Lara learned one of the songs specially for the event. It made for a very special, and personal ceremony. Lara went on to perform a set at the drinks reception, showing incredible versatility, from Motown to Taylor Swift.
We had accomplished musicians amongst our guests and they all remarked about - and some connected with - Lara. She set the unique tone for the day in the ceremony and got the party started in the drinks reception. The fact that she is a talented artist is unquestionable, but what makes her so pleasant to deal with is that she takes the time to understand the audience and what the client wants from the day. We live overseas and had to organize the event at arm's length. Lara went out of her way to put our minds at rest and to ensure that we were comfortable.

We had Lara sing at our Christmas launch event at Enfield Garden Centre. It’s hard picking a singer online, who looks good online or who sounds good online can be very different to reality!
But, seriously, Lara exceeded expectations!
She was engaged from the start of conversations, was amenable to changing locations within our event, and chose a brilliant mixture of traditional and pop Christmas songs.

Lara entertained the 126 guests at a New Years Eve party we organised, she performed two 45min sets, Despite enjoying a seven course dinner the guests were watching her, applauding and many commented on what a great singer she was. Lara compiled a bespoke set of ‘Disney’ songs for my teenage daughter’s birthday party and performed them brilliantly. She is a terrific singer with a really warm and friendly personality. She created a lovely atmosphere and was super professional in both her behaviour on the night and in the overall thought she put into the booking. We would definitely book Lara again!
