La Pizzeria Napoli

Very friendly team who made the pizzas, service was very efficient, pizzas were made to order and delicious. Plus they were really flexible as my numbers increased on the night and the managed to cater for that too. My guests were very impressed and I would definitely use them again.

Found communication initially restrictive on PopTop. Not being able to speak to suppliers directly was tricky, i wanted to discuss dietary req'ments, gain expertise on how best to serve pizza, timings etc but i couldn't do this until i committed with a deposit. I was concerned about paying a deposit, then not want to go with the company as they may not have been able to fulfil my req'ments. Napoli Pizza - On the day & 1 hour before my party,i rec'd a text to advise that they couldn't obtain Gluten Free bases! This was not a welcome text, i was prepping for the party. I replied asking what alternative they could offer. Nothing came back so i had no choice but it go out and obtain the gluten free bases myself at my cost! When they arrived i passed them over advising that it wasn't helpful to tell me 1 hour before that they couldn't feed the Gluten Free guests, they then advised they had found Gluten Free bases after all but had failed to tell me!! Sadly for my guests & the Napoli team the pizza dough machine was broken, which meant serving my party was embarrassingly slow. Guests were waiting 40/60 mins in the queue for their chosen pizza. The team of 2 worked hard , the pizza when received was nice but sadly the 'service' just isn't there. No discount offered either.

The team did a great job, and feedback from our guests was excellent. Communication in the build up was great too. Would thoroughly recommend.

Arrived an hour late, causing the flow of our wedding reception to be completely messed up. Stated, in writing, this is because they took the "wrong route" so clearly didn't make any effort to plan their journey for a prompt arrival. Did not provide plates and napkins as agreed. Did not serve by the slice as agreed and when I raised this they pretended to serve by the slice in front of me then went back to the way they wanted afterwards. Pizza was mediocre. No contact after the wedding to apologise or offer a solution.

Unfortunately arrived about 25-30mins late and was short of staff. This happens I guess but it did cause unnecessary stress when hosting a party for 45 hungry people. However in fairness Mohammed did work really hard to get service up and running quickly. He was polite and accommodating to everyone’s requests. The good and most important news is that the pizzas were really well received and everyone enjoyed them. So overall a good experience (sadly just let down a little by time-keeping).
