Hi.
My Name is Christian.
I am a saxophonist who also sings and likes to play bongos.
I've been playing sax for a long time now and have a lot of experience performing on stages all over the world as well as for smaller, intimate events, particularly in the UK.
Weddings and private parties are where I mostly find myself playing nowadays as well as some dance music gigs alongside DJs.
For me it's such a pleasure to play and i always give it 100%.
Having spent some years in the music industry in Jamaica, Reggae music is very close to my heart.
Jamaican Patios became like a second language for me for a while and as a result, my reggae singing voice sometimes catches people off guard !
I like singing, especially reggae, but i'm just as happy playing the sax too !
I play Tenor, Alto and Soprano saxes and I try to incorporate different styles into my performances, since the saxophone is such a versatile instrument.
From Reggae to Rock and Roll, Ibiza Dance Classics or House and Garage music, Pop, Blues, Swing, R&B, Soul, as well as Jazz - there's invariably a saxophone playing in there somewhere.
Iconic saxophone solos in songs like Baker Street, Careless Whisper, True, In the Mood, or even well known instrumentals like Take 5, Pick up the pieces, Morning Dance, Songbird (Kenny G) or Lily Was Here, all feature in my playlist, as do instrumental cover versions of songs throughout the decades.
I consider myself lucky to find pleasure in other people's joy, so let's bring on the joy and keep music Live !

Christian was superb from start to finish. His correspondence and responsiveness was punctual and accurate. Had a chat with him on the phone to discuss final details and was immediately confident that he was reliable and assured he would do a great job - which he did. Christian arrived at the venue in plenty of time to set up and was ready to begin as soon as the guests arrived. Then the magic started. He played absolutely beautifully, read the room and pitched the tempo appropriately. Such a talented artist. Would book him again in a heartbeat.
Christian is a true gentleman,multi talented musician and has a lovely presence about him. He played Sax & Bongo’s at our wedding Reception on Friday 3rd June 2022. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t have Christian there for our ceremony as he was already booked….that would of been superb!
