Description
Whether you want a subtle solo guitar or as part of a 2,3,4 or 5 piece band 'JD's Jazz Guitar' is available to play at your occassion and all live events. Other instruments will be made up of double bass, piano, drums, sax, trumpet & vocals. A fine blend of the best known jazz standards to add a touch of class to your event. Swinging bebop, Latin beats, bossa novas and chilled out ballads. I live in Bath playing and teaching guitar. I started playing in the summer of 1991 and haven't really stopped since. Since 2002 I have been a full time guitarist and teacher. I gig as a solo guitarist but more often with various groups and am available for all kinds of live playing and session work.
These days I mostly plays in and around Bath & Bristol but have toured the UK, France, Germany and Italy with various groups, and have also featured on various BBC radio programmes.

The repetoire will include music by songwriters including Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and made famous by artists such as Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.
