With over a decade of photography experience, and a long career as a tour guide, I have the ideal skill set to put guests at ease, and capture the best moments of the day/night.

We met with him before the wedding to get to know him and discuss our vision and he was so down to earth, accommodating and very easy to get on with. The day of the wedding he captured amazing photos and even went the extra mile by wearing a cloak (we were having a Harry Potter themed wedding). Ahh James was lovely & managed the wedding guests great with regards to organising the group for photos. The photography was a gift to my son & now daughter-in-law on their wedding day & booked just a few weeks before their date, great price & a tailored small service to what we needed. I received approx 20 lovely photos very quickly, James advised the rest will follow in about 4wks. I loved how we could access them via a link, really useful to just be able to pass the link around family. Well - what can I say about the LEGEND that is James?! I’m afraid I can’t write a good enough review for him! He was a pleasure to have at our wedding, he fitted right in and put us at ease. He took control of everything and made everything so stress free. When it was time for him to go we didn’t want him to…he felt like a friend we’ve known for years. After he left he had 25 edited photos sent through to us in a matter of hours…which (as you can see) are perfect! All our guests have commented on how brilliant he was… I hope to meet him again! Don’t hesitate if you’re in need of a photographer…you won’t be disappointed!
We had our wedding at Prestonfield House Hotel on 3rd September 2022, James Armandary was our photographer, we used him through the Poptop website.
James is a fantastic photographer and very friendly, relaxed, kind and so approachable person, my husband and I would have been lost without him on our big day, he guided us through all the photos and helped out with the piper! his photographs are stunning and attention to detail second to none.

James was amazing throughout the whole day despite my partner an I wasn’t sure how everything was coming together on our wedding but James was able to take us away from everyone and made us feel at ease! The event as such photographer did not go ahead as tried email calls text and poptop to ask for 3 to 4 weeks no reply and no refund bad experience for a wedding when not knowing what was happening got another photographer as no response at all as said 3 to 4 weeks been trying for contact would not recommend

No- I'm there to capture whatever moments you want, and all the ones you didn't realise you wanted as well, and am dedicated to you and your wedding only. Unless you're getting married twice on the same day, in which case, yes! :D
My style is quite soft, and I really love capturing the mood of the event. Generally, I'll take mostly candid shots, with a few posed/group shots as well, for those who want a few more traditional photos in the mix.
