Hazaar are a six piece virtuosic klezmer band from Devon consisting of clarinet/sax, violin, flute, guitar, double bass and drums. A versatile band that perform traditional klezmer music from the Balkans and beyond with a twist. Described as "Eastern European Yiddish folk-rock", Hazaar combine elements of funk, rock, klezmer and gypsy jazz within their infectious arrangements.

Instantly recognisable, Hazaar are the leading band on the Klezmer scene in Devon. Performing across the South West with their upbeat, high octane sound, they are a force to be reckoned with.

Hazaar have spent the last 15 years absorbing the rich folk music traditions of Jewish Eastern Europe, Greece and the Balkans. Their diverse background and mix of talented musicians has created a unique sound. A top notch klezmer party band guaranteed to bring laughter, song and dance!
