Awarded ‘Best Wedding Harpist - London’ at the 2019 Global Wedding Awards, and with over 15 years' experience, harpist Harriet has played for Royalty, film stars, and top orchestras like the Philharmonia!
Equally at home performing live on ITV’s Good Morning Britain as she is in hospitals, private homes and concert halls and hotels, award winning harpist Harriet is in high demand for weddings and functions due to her expertise and performing flair. Harriet takes pride in combining her musical talent with absolute professionalism, a killer set list, and a ‘can do’ attitude.
Harriet’s harp has taken her to diverse locations and star studded events including a performance in front of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II as part of the celebrations for her Diamond Jubilee, an appearance at the BRIT Awards and a live duet on TV with Dermot O'Leary for Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother. A versatile performer, not only has she has dressed up as an angel to appear at London’s Fabric Night Club and recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, but she has also performed for BBC 1's Songs of Praise, ITV drama series Harlots, and for Channel 5’s The Hotel Inspector. For several years she performed regular recitals on cruise ships including Cunard’s legendary QE2, and also Fred Olsen and P & O cruises. Harriet has played in all the major London hotels including Claridges, The Ritz, the Savoy, Connaught, Manderin Oriental, Landmark, Lanesborough and Dorchester Hotels.
Harriet will tailor her music to suit each individual event and client’s tastes. Her repertoire is enormously varied and she is happy to take requests with advance warning, and where possible, on the day. She is as equally happy performing light Classical, folk or jazz tunes, as she is pop and Bollywood music. If you would like help choosing music, she is able to provide a comprehensive selection of pieces which work well for the different parts of the day.
Harriett arrived on time despite the council closing the roads to our hotel. Harriet played perfect music for our 50th anniversary and at times you found yourself humming along with her. All our guest loved her choice of music and playing.
