For the last 10+ years I've provided my distinct style of portraiture for Movember (everyone gets a tache), FACT magazine and just for fun. I love connecting with those I draw and providing a truly unique experience and portrait.
A friend once described me as a "tragic-comedic modern Surrealist" - which I kinda like.
Think caricature but not. Think photo-realistic portraiture, but definitely not.
The experience starts with an introduction of what's next. You sit comfortably as I start to draw, without looking at the paper. A min or so passes, filled with hilarity and smiles as we connect in the moment. Then when your essence is captured, we relax and I fill in the details. It's you, but not as you see you.

We were extremely lucky to have had Graeme come to visit our Reception children in school. This is a time in the year when the children need some encouragement to 'mark make' and Graeme certainly did that. After seeing Graeme draw one of the teachers and continuing to see him draw multiple portraits of children, the amount of drawings that are produced by the children was wonderful. They were truly inspired! Not to mention the queue of children who were eager to be drawn. Graeme has such a talent and we are so thankful that he agreed to come and spend the afternoon with us!
