Giulia and the Lizards are an incredible Soul, Rock, Pop, Motown and Jazz function band based in London, specialised in weddings, corporate events and private parties.

G and the Lizards is a high energy , classy and engaging band featuring a line-up of professional musicians with more than 15 years experience of live performances in different venues in London and UK. Their repertoire is characterised by a wide selection of Pop, Rock, Soul and R&B classics, uplifting Motown songs, famous jazz standards and Italian/Spanish numbers, all rearranged in different styles including funk, swing and latin jazz.

The band is led by natural born singer Giulia, a fearless performer who is capable to literally get the audience going with her charming voice and to get everyone involved. Absolutely fantastic. I had Giulia plus drummer and everyone said how fantastic they were. Giulia has great rapport with the audience and has a strong image. All very professional, plenty of variety in the music played and Giulia's voice has a great range and quality. I couldn't be more pleased.

    Our competitive advantage is our very compact and flecible line-ups. We can put on a real party with only a 2-piece band!! We spend 150 days a year on the road, which means we have a superbly, well arranged , tight show. We have an incredible stage presence and always build great rapport with all guests and clients. We like to interact and involve the audience in our shows and our target is never to just please , but to always impress and exceed all expectations.

  • How can event planners pay for your services?
    By bank transfer only , in full, prior to the event.
  • How long do you play for?
    Standard length is 2 x 50 mints (2-hours stay from start to finish) We occassionally offer 3 x 40-45 if required. We offer a playlist service for the break/s at no extra cost.
  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?
    Our PA and basic lighting system is included in your quote for events with up to 100 guests
  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
    We have PLI (Insurance) and all of our equipment y PAT tested every year.
  • How much space do you require?
    Small surface/ stage required for the Duo and Trio line-ups. 5 by 3 meters of space required fir the quartet/s and 7 by 4 meters required for the quintet.
  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?
    We take requests, up to 3, free of charge.
  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?
    Our breaks are negotiable and adaptable to your requirements, Usuall we offer 2 x 45-50 mints sets with a break of 15-30 mints. We have also the option to go for 3 sets of 40-45 mints each with breaks, covering 3.5-4 hours from the first set until the end of the last set.
  • Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
    “We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned musicians of our absolute trust, available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.”
  • Do you have different line-up options?
    Duo : Vocals and guitar plus drums Trio: Singer-guitarist plus bass and drums Trio: singer plus keyboards and drums Quartet: bass, drums, guitar OR keyboards and vocals Quintet: bass, drums, guitar, keyboards and vocals 6-piece band: Adding male singer, Sax or Trumpet
  • What if my timings change after I've booked you?
    We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
  • Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
    Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.
  • How much time do you need to set up?
    We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!
  • Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
    Of course you can: Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.
  • Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
    Our PA and lighting system is included in all of our duo and Trio quote for events with up to 100 guests. Our PA and lighting system is also included in all of our Quartet and Quintet quotes for events with up to 150 guests. We have larger systems available if required. Pkease enquire as prices vary a lot from one size to the other.
  • What do your clients love most about your performances?
    The band's high energy and versatility and our very impressive singer and front woman, who is a natural-born, fearless performer. We interact with the audience from the first till the last song and read the crowds and environments real well so we are able to please and delight all sorts of crowds.
