We are a funky, fun five piece band playing a great mix of soul, pop, and indie. We create live, authentic sounds, and don’t rely on any additional backing tracks. We typically play at weddings but also have ample experience in playing at other functions and events. We are very adaptable and flexible and always strive to meet the needs of our clients to ensure they have the perfect setting for their event. One of our clients recently stated “thank you for being so adaptable to the changes we needed to make on the night and for learning our first dance song, it was so amazing live, we absolutely loved it”. We constantly review our current repertoire by keeping up to date with today’s music charts. We pride ourselves on our customer care skills and aim to give our clients the best possible experience. We liaise closely with our clients and will adapt our set accordingly, especially if a client has any particular song requests. We are very passionate about what we do and individually have a wealth of musical experience and talent.
Five Minutes to Midnight came recommended to us and we cannot sing their praises enough. They were just brilliant. They got everyone on the dance floor all night, their set list hit just the right notes (wedding appropriate without being a wedding cliche!), and they were incredibly helpful and communicative in the run up to the event. Five Minutes to Midnight played at my wedding in August 2021 and they were amazing! Their communication beforehand was fantastic, nothing was too much for them. They even kindly learnt our first dance song so we could have an acoustic live version and it was just incredible, they really went above and beyond. Their set list was fab, all the classic party tunes to keep the dance floor full and kindly took requests when dj'ing. Thank you so much again guys you were great and we cannot recommend you enough! ❤💃
Five Minutes to Midnight were absolutely incredible at our wedding! They were so helpful from the booking right the way through to the end. We had to postpone for a year due to covid, but there was no stress from the band and they just transferred over our deposit and re-booked for the following year. We had a lot of input into the set list and they learnt a new song for us on request with no hassle. They created an amazing atmosphere on the night, had a really varied set list with something for everyone and all of our guests were up dancing all night! I couldn't have asked for a better performance from them and I'd happily recommend them to anyone wanting some fantastic musicians to really liven up a party!
