Emily has a versatile, wide-ranging repertoire of pop, jazz and classical music, which can be tailored to suit any occasion. Classically trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, she is an accomplished soloist and has performed in various prestigious venues around the UK (such as Buxton Opera House, Sheffield City Hall, the Bridgewater Hall and Old Granada Studios), as well as numerous smaller local venues around Manchester. Emily was selected to perform with renowned Manchester band New Order in June and July 2017 for a series of shows and joined them for several international tour dates during May 2018. Emily has been booked for performances by names such as Premier League Productions, John Lewis and Manchester International Festival. Years of experience have refined her ability to accurately judge the most appropriate repertoire for the occasion. Emily can be trusted to provide tasteful and discreet live music, adding the perfect finishing touches to your event.

Emily is delightful, cheerful and very talented. She played a small grand piano at my birthday bash on 14.03.2020 a wonderful array of classical, jazz and pop. All with great skill and tact while 33 chatted ate and drank around her. She is excellent and I am delighted to recommend her unreservedly.

Emily played piano for our Wedding and was incredible and very talented, she played all songs we requested very well. She played on both keyboard and piano, meaning I could walk down the aisle to my favourite song. We would definitely recommend Emily for any occasion.

Emily is an outstanding pianist. We felt privileged to have her playing at our wedding reception. She is extremely versatile and played for three hours with only short breaks. Her repertoire is impressive, from modern pop to Chopin and all of it was beautifully arranged and performed both on a keyboard and a piano. She created a superb atmosphere and our guests were full of admiration for her talent. I would strongly recommend Emily for your function.

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

    Of course! Requests in advance are welcome. I can work with you to come up with a set list including all your favourites, or you can leave it to me.

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

    Ideally a break of 15-20 minutes per 90 minutes of playing. However, this is flexible depending on your requirements.

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

    Yes.

  • What makes you stand out?

    My training at the Royal Northern College of Music and involvement in numerous contrasting projects have given me a lot of experience. Thanks to this and my varied repertoire, I am very adaptable. I work from how my audience seem to be enjoying my repertoire choices, and adjust accordingly to play more of what is best received- every audience is different!
