Elijah Paul is a highly experienced Pop, Soul and Jazz Saxophonist, performing regularly both as a solo artist and in several professional bands.
Elijah began playing Sax at the age of 12, and was initially classically trained, achieving Grade 8 after six years. He furthered his studies at Canterbury Christ Church University. Whilst attending he progressively moved away from his classical roots to Jazz studies where Elijah flourished as a respected performer and composer. Since graduating with first class honours in Jazz Performance and Composition, Elijah has made a name for himself as a go-to session musician and solo performer, as well as being part of many successful bands, performing at many festivals and events across Europe.
Elijah is a passionate performer and this comes across in his lively and energetic performances. With a repertoire of over 150+ songs, covering many genres from Jazz and Neo-Soul to Pop and Motown classics. Elijah prides himself on his ability to handpick the ultimate setlist for every event, playing with professionally recorded and arranged backing tracks through state-of-the-art sound equipment (Stage lighting also available on request).
As a soloist, he can easily tailor his performance to his client's specific tastes and requirements, allowing them to highlight or deselect any tracks from his repertoire. He can also offer the opportunity to request a few songs for him to learn specially in advance.
A solo saxophone performance is a terrific way to add that extra sparkle to your wedding day, party or any other event. It's unique, classy and fun, and goes a long way towards creating that 'no-expenses-spared' feel without overloading the budget. Our wedding day had a few issues arising with the venue on the day which left guest board however as soon as Elijah came to perform all my guests lit up again and danced away along to Elijah and the DJ. Honestly Elijah is very professional and understanding. He made our evening great and moved around all the guests to get them up dancing in the sun.

Elijah played a fantastic set for us alongside our DJ for our wedding on Saturday night. I am honestly so grateful we booked him - all the guests said how amazing it was and he really kept the party going. The fact we managed to cut the power from the sound limiter shows how much people were signing along!

Elijah performed at my friend's garden hen party and was absolutely amazing! All of the hens (from 20 to 70 year olds) loved it as he really can play any song request so we had a total variety of music across the ages. We had such a brilliant time dancing to his performance that we actually asked Elijah if he wouldn't mind if we extended the set so we could carry on partying which he kindly agreed to. He was super responsive in the lead up to the event and also helped plan the element of surprise for the hen! I would definitely recommend Elijah - he really made the night and is super talented!
