Drip Events

It was not a great experience and I would not use the service again. I needed a waiter for a dinner party of 10 people to help with drinks and serving the table and washing up. I hate giving such a young inexperienced and well-intentioned girl a bad review as I am sure she will learn. If I pay £25/hr for help I do hope the person has some experience. She did not know what to do and even though we went through her responsibilities she had to be explicitly asked every time. I had to clean up the table serve drinks. She did help when reminded. I thought at least I wouldn’t need to clean up but as she was leaving she says to me she left a few things she didn’t know how to clean. When I went back to look she had left the 2 fondue pots and so many dishes which take time to clean. She had run dishwasher half empty. So in the end we had to spend another hour cleaning up after the dinner. I have my usual waiters I hire for the same price who are incomparably efficient and better trained. They were just unavailable that day as it was planned with short notice. I booked the service on the website Friday and assumed it would go through as the deposit was taken but no one from Drip event got back to me until 4pm the day of the event which meant I had spent more time looking for alternatives.

I have had to score a one star rating( as the review won't send without a star scoring) although I don't rate them any stars - Yes that's a Zero star rating for any of the above.
Unfortunately my waiters did not turn up and Kay was not reachable by phone or text. I expect my deposit to be returned as I obviously had the stress of dealing with the situation alongside the cost & logistics of arranging cleaners to clear up, which was part of the job the booking was made for, remuneration for this is going to be unlikely as I know they don't have the integrity to comply with this process!
The event I was hosting at my home was a Engagement and the booking was for 6 hours - It was impossible to find a replacement service at short notice (when they did not arrive without any warning) so the result was a chaos of 100 guests with no waiting staff.
Since the event i have been unable to reach any administrative staff.
As a 'professional' company they had all the information necessary and I had paid the deposit a month in advance and they simply didn't turn up - no one should have to deal with that kind of stress.
Anyone who books them should expect that there's a strong possibility they will do the same to you.
Four days on and I still haven't heard a word

THe waitress didn't show up. I'd like a refund please
