DJ Whoppa

We felt so lucky to find DJ Whoppa to take care of the music for a joint 18th and 60th party. Right from the point of booking enquiry we could tell that we were in safe hands; responses were prompt, helpful and polite. With such a broad range of ages in attendance, having the right mix of music was really important. We sent over a list of the kind of songs we'd like to hear on the night and Emmanuel took all of these on board but read the crowd and moved through all decades and genres of music so there was something to tempt everyone on to the dance floor. More importantly, I had asked for my 18 year old son to be able to sing a couple of karaoke songs; my son is autistic and singing is a big thing for him. Right from the point of setting up the DJ desk, Emmanuel was involving my son with sound checks and making sure he was happy and comfortable, it turns out he is a teacher and so he engaged really well with my son and just made the whole experience feel more personal and special. Everyone had a fantastic night and we have DJ Whoppa to thank for that. Highly recommended!

Would definitely recommend Emmanuel. I hired him for my 50th birthday party at home and everyone had an amazing time. He played all the right tracks to get people dancing for hours! He was also very flexible about taking requests. Mainly seemed like a lovely person and happy to please. And even let me do some kareoke!! (and managed to lift the mood back up afterwards!). Emmanuel provided a fantastic service, it was a very last minute booking but he provided it exactly what we need for a surprise 40th Birthday Party. Great music, everyone had a fantastic time. He even provided some mic's for those who liked to sing along to their favourite song. Would happily book again for any future parties/events.

Emmanual was fabulous! Would highly recommend him to anyone! He was really communicative and was easy going, happy to play whichever songs we wanted! We threw a festival themed hen do for my sister and he absolutely made it!! Highly recommend for any event!

DJ Whoppa (Emmanuel) was absolutely brilliant, hired him for my daughters 18th, they danced all night and not one of them had a bad word to say about him, brilliant music and atmosphere. Personally, I thought Emmanuel was genuinely a really lovely guy and I could have chatted to him all night, would recommend him to anyone.
